Once you get the hang of the slight wiggle in the blade, it works like a charm. It's cut everything we needed it to cut - from oak and black walnut to grape vines and cedar - like it was going through butter. And we've cut through a LOT of wood with this thing. I'm not sure how long it will last, but for this price, we can afford to buy another one when this one goes.

Decent little saw for the price. I keep this around for mid-winter pruning of my large fruit trees. The blade is a bit wobbly, but for the price, you can't beat it.

Bought as gift for my son to carry when walking the wooded trails on his 60 acres of land. This is convenient to carry and allows him to clear the trails of branches and limbs without carrying a bow saw or chainsaw (still needs a chainsaw for the large stuff, but this folding saw will handle most of what he has easily). Good quality and easy to grip. Cuts quickly with minimal effort.

Its a saw. Works great for cutting smaller pieces of firewood. Sharp out of the box, and hasn't dulled noticeably. Folding feature is great for storage and not cutting yourself.

this saw does not cut well. not on thick branches, nor thin, nor green, nor dry. the chip clearance holes get stuck on the pull stroke and the return stroke, bending the blade, which is too thin and flexible. i think the blade would break quickly from the repeated bending. it chatters in the cut and does not cut smoothly. the plastic locking button does at least have a metal pin to engage the blade, but it's still a little loose and the blade wiggles up and down. the handle feels solid and sturdy. the blade rattles and clanks in the handle when carrying it folded. the black "anti-rust coating" is not a teflon coating or any sort of polymer, it's just black oxide finish on the steel, which won't actually protect from rust. it comes in a ziploc bag to stay dry, but this might just trap moisture from cutting green wood inside the bag and cause rust. about the only thing it has going for it is the neutral color. this is probably a knock-off of the original taiwanese model from Bosi Tools. i would definitely spend an extra dollar for the very similar yellow model from Bosi Tools (which is currently selling for less) but without all of the changes i listed, and it has a better quality blade.

Great saw! Cut soft wood easily, stayed sharp for some time. Is flimsy like everyone says, but just need to be careful

Multiple purposes. Great for hedges, bushes, medium branches, palm tree frongs, and much more. Sharp and durable. I spray WD-40 on the teeth after use to inhibit rusting.

this was on sale for a very reasonable price and i was able to use it to easily clear up several branches and volunteer black walnut trees that were over 8 feet tall. much better than the tools i had on hand. very pleased with this. i have some health conditions and needed something to make this work as easy as possible. i'm relieved this cheap tool did it!
