Car fob instantly renewed to full strength
Both the fobs for my 2008 Ford Focus had almost no strength left. had to use the key several times. I searched Amazon for a battery compatible for my 2008 Ford and found yours. I purchased two and took them down to my mechanic who installed them in minutes. The fobs are back to full strength, work perfectly. Major relief.

Not the correct battery as advertised
This is not the correct battery for a 2020 Ford Escape key fob

Standard CR2032 battery.
These batteries are listed as key fob batteries for a Ford. However, I believe they are just standard CR2032 batteries that can be used in anything that takes this size battery. For example, I have both Android and Apple air tags, and this battery fits and works in both of them. Don't know how long it will last. Only time will tell.

There is apparently a marketing strategy of claiming that it is special for a particular key FOB. so that it can be marked way up in cost. Any CR2032 battery should work in any FOB that requires that type of battery. I get several of these batteries that were supposedly specific for certain key FOBs and found that the battery is identical in each case.Amazon sells Toshiba CR2032 batteries in a 10-pack for $5.91 ($0.59 each), while this battery is selling for $6.89 EACH. Save money and buy this CR2032 battery elsewhere.

Better Battery Choices Out There
Although these "Rome Tech" CR 2032 batteries are primarily marketed for key-FOBs, plenty of other applications. Vastly over-priced here, at double the retail cost, or more, than name-brands, with only a one-year warranty, while the "Energizer" guarantees 12 year storage. No mention whatsoever of "Color Alert Dye" utilized in manufacture to alert parents if child has accidentally swallowed one of these batteries; therefore I would deem these branded batteries as an "UNACCEPTABLE" Safety Hazard risk to small children and pets.
