FootActive METATARSALGIA - XL - 11/13 UK

I don't generally leave reviews but these were so good I felt I had too. I've been suffering with foot pain in the ball of my foot on and off for a long time and never thought of getting inserts untill it got really bad. In a pit of I'll try anything (before a ski holiday) I bought these. And I must say they are superb. I personally diddnt find them uncomfortable or odd feeling at all. They enabled me to walk normally without a limp without taking pain relief which I try and avoid if I can. Absolutely worth a go. I'm still not sure what I have but if you have pain in the ball of your foot I'd suggest these would help. Should add, fitted in my trainers securely without removing the inner

I was ecstatic when I first discovered these insoles 3-4 years ago. I had tried numerous off the shelf and custom insoles and nothing seemed to ease the pain much. These helped me feel better. However, the recent order was disappointing. As other reviewer/s has said, the design is changed. The dome under the middle part of the foot (transverse arch) is significantly wider and pronounced - similar to what I had from custom insoles from UCL hospital. They are now much more uncomfortable and you feel your foot is instable and toes are hanging in the air. Additionally, the pictures on the listing is of the old design where this dome was much more subtle and narrow - which really helped. Footactive - please make the old design available again.
