Product description says "Silicon-rich" !!!??? I thought it was common knowledge that silicon increase the possibility of tire dry rot? Even the reps at Tire Rack said the same thing. Or did the Germans come up with something new? THanks!

I have used this product for several years, and tires wore out long before tire rot set in. I don’t know why Tire Rack would say that. This has been nothing but an amazing product. As I said I’ve used this product for years and I would highly recommend it. The product does make the tires looks clean and black, and shiny, but not overly so. Let it dry 10 min before driving. No sling. I’ve never seen it sling off like some products. It’s also amazing on the hard black car trim (not rubber). Makes it amazing with no rub off.

Can I use this product on rubber boots?

Tire Gloss Gel would be safe on rubber boots, but it would not absorb into the rubber like it would a tire.

I live in rainy Vancouver. How well does this hold up after a day or 2 of rain?

I live not all that far from you, whichever of the two Vancouvers you have in mind. It rains like mad here near Seattle, and one of the positive attributes of the Sonax product is that it lasts through foul wet weather better than the competing products I have tried, and I've tried many over the years.

does it leave tire marks in the driveway??

It’s does go on thick but I have not seen tire marks on the driveway
