The value of this hydroponics system is incredible! It costs almost half the price as it would have if I had tried to make it myself! I thought for sure that because of the price, it would be cheap and full of chemicals. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found a bunch of spare parts and manuals on how to set up a full hydroponics system! After taking these parts out and setting them up without glue, I went off to buy PVC glue to finish the job. It all went together fine until the last part. After slipping all of the tubes together except for the last horizontal one that holds plants, the vertical support pipes had already been locked in by the other horizontal tubes already glued in place. I had to cut part of the tube and it was a struggle, but I got it eventually and it works and looks great! The pump is very small and is about the size of two fingers put together, but it pumps adequately and works perfectly with the system along with the timer. I also had fears that it would be low, and the bottom row of plants would practically be on the ground, but that is not the case at all! It is well off the ground and I am no longer worried about my bottom row plants collecting dust. I also loved the baskets that this kit comes with. They are very well made and fit into the square holes very snugly and securely. It also comes with some foam grow media-type cubes, but I didn't trust those and set them aside. Overall though, this was probably the best thing I have ever gotten from China, and maybe one of my best purchases ever. I was really blown away by the value (it was a little tough to put together but after that it was fine). I definitely recommend this hydroponics system!

Set up was done without any problems by a plumber friend who did a good job. So far the motor is working and there are no leaks in the system and no set-up issues. I put my seeds to germinate and once they sprung up I got the system going and inserted the seed pods and baskets. I am only 2 days in and checking with excitement every day to make sure everything is ok. So far, so good. Yes you can purchase the parts and make your own system, but this is perfect, less work, ready to assemble and the price is worth it. I am looking forward to seeing how my hydroponic garden develops

I hoped this would be rather easy but I had feel I had quite a bit of trouble for how easy I think it should have been. I raised it up on bricks to get it elevated for my drain catch. I pinned the drain line down many different way but it came undone several times from my bucket and drained all of the water/fertilizer I had. A few times somehow the drain line would bind or get to high up and wouldn’t actually return so the bottom chambers would fill to the edge and bleed out that way. I had it all hung loosely so it wouldn’t get pinched but it still somehow clogged. Going to try again this year with hopefully a better initial setup. Possibly higher to have the hoses completely straight so there no chance of backup or bleed out. I also bought 2 additional pump as I wasn’t super happy with this one and the reviews said it wasn’t powerful either.

Fairly easy to assemble. Simple design. I used this in conjunction with my aquaponics setup as I’ve always wanted a ladder system to try. So I set it up over my pond where it would pump from the pond and then drain back into the pond. I’m not a fan of the intermittent water flow; but giving it a try to see how things grow. So far the plants don’t seem to be growing as fast as they do in the floating raft setup. The pump is super quiet though and the size is great for a small indoor setup.

This came in exactly as expected, no damage to pipes and on time. I've had it a year now and have had great success growing in this system. Pros: - Cheap, Sturdy, no leaks. - In roughly 1 year I have grown several Dozen Bok Choi, a good chunk of spinach, and various amounts of parsley, cilantro, dill, and other herbs. - We also used it to start plants indoors before transplanting outside in the spring (mixed success here because the root systems need to work hard to adapt). Cons (nothing you shouldn't expect going in): - It's a pain to clean. I recommend a seasonal disassembly and solid scrub for algae. Advice - This isn't a thousand dollar subscription service, you'll need to put the effort in to make this work. Lights, food, pump, and timers. - You should not expect to use every station. As plants mature I'm down to about 2 per pipe, but that is plenty for our family. - It does particularly well with leafy greens. - Be thoughtful about neighboring plants. Fast growing bok choi has overgrown and killed a few of its neighbors.

Horrible! Water will not push through the tubes no matter the slope. Even purchased another pump and still doesn’t work. Grows algae because there is no aligned water fliw

Works but is leaky and not the sturdiest. At first, there were minor leaks from the joints that weren't too much of a hassle. After a few weeks though, the entire bottom pipe is wet and dripping. Not sure if its a structural issue or if there's a hairline fracture. Either way, I'd stick with a different system.

So far it is working pretty good. Very easy to put together and start to work. My only concern is with the drain pipe, it is too low in order to put a recipient to collect the water.

Habe dieses Hydroponic System gekauft und exact nach Anleitung zusammengebaut. Der Schauch von der Pumpe war zu kurz, um die Pumpe in die Wanne geben zu können, da musste ich einen anderen längeren Schlauch bestellen. 2tes Problem das Wasser verteilt sich ungleich und läuft unten über. Ich möchte mein Geld zurück und fühle mich als Kundin verarscht. Optisch auf die Fotos sah es top aus aber technisch-praktisch der reinste Flop. Es funktioniert nichts in diesem System. Siehe Video.

Das System fehlt eine Air Steine. Die Pflanzen wachsen 2-3 Wochen und dann die brauchen Sauerstoff. Das Wasser bleibt ganze Zeit im Rohr und das wegen ist das System nicht komplett.

We put this together yesterday (we glued the water joints) put the water in the bucket and turned on the pump. It worked great, it took awhile and lots of water. The water circulated wonderfully.

Structure not supported well, must be glued and supports added. Grow tubes have to be tied down with zip ties or taped in place as well. Very flimsy and falls apart.

I agree with the reviews regarding part costs, and construction. I'd also like to add that there is no easy method of adding lights for use indoors, and I'd like this system to be higher off of the floor so I can use a bucket rather than a tote for the nutrients. My purchase was for the parts included, not the complete assembly. I'll build my own stand to correct these problems. As a bonus, I can use the pipes meant for the stand to increase the distance between the pipes, both horizontally and vertically. For the mechanically challenged, I've included a copy of the instructions labeled with the sub-assemblies to ease your construction as received.
