Wood Burning Set

Bought this for my grandson for his birthday. It came with wood, pictures, transfer paper, sandpaper, glue. The instructions were very easy to follow. He had the picture traced on the wood right away and started burning it into the wood. It said for 14 and up. He just turned 10 and could handle this.

The wood burner pencil get to hot the the kids to use. Requires more insulation on holding area.

Kids liked doing this. But the burner tool handle was extremely hot to hold. We had to wrap the handle with an oven mitt which made it a bit more difficult to use. The designs pages are printed back to back. So we scanned and printed some of the pages rather than cutting across them. Do this outside.. a lot of fumes.

Great gift idea, everything needed for any beginner. Nicely made. Unit is very durable.Enough items inside to keep anyone busy for some time.

Kids had a really fun time doing this and brings out the creative side as we know most kids are glued to some kind of electronic device these days and it's good to get them to do something that uses their brain and have fun doing it.

My so is 13 and loves this set.
