Cholula Original Hot Sauce

I bought this because it was on the tables of my favorite Mexican restaurants (a pretty good endorsement) and really liked it. It’s got a really nice blend of flavor without too much heat, which makes it great to use on things like sandwiches and in soups as I do every day to jazz them up a bit. On a per ounce basis this can be a bit pricey in the stores, but in this bulk box its actually much cheaper, and I find using the packets to be very convenient because one packet turns out to be just about perfect for how I use it. Win win! There are other specialty brands out there that can be a bit better, but they’re much more expensive so using as much as I do per day would add up, and this is plenty good enough for my daily uses.

So much easier to have hot sauce on the go, in the car, at home, at work. These are delicious!

This is a great option to have when portion cups aren’t available for packing to-go orders from larger packages. Also a great “take as you like” option for a condiment rack on the table or at a checkout.

My husband LOVES Cholula and it was becoming an expensive cost to buy the little bottles at the grocery store. This was the best choice instead. He loves the flavor, and has a constant supply due to the massive size. I think it's funny to have a huge jug of this in the pantry, so we refill a smaller bottle to keep at the kitchen table. Perfect choice if you know you will use it consistently.

Best on the go hot sauce. I always grab a few to take in my lunch bag. Share with the guys. Like having the authentic bottle in my lunch bag. Must have for guys that work out in the field and pack a lunch.

Best mainstream hot sauce voted Worst by ATK. Tasty balance between vinegar and green pepper, no tomatoe heard on this vine-egar. Price trends toward schizophrenic. Catch it on the way down and you’ll hear your tastebuds singing “Satisfaction”. Celebrate on salads, Taco Tuesdays and Bloody or Buddy Mary’s. Adios! Product of Mexico!

Love this hot sauce. Sometimes when order the expiry is very close. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For most part though love this stuff.
