Despite some problems with assembly it is a very sturdy, attractive TV stand. The rubber wood has a nice grain and color. It fit our 49" TV with space to spare and accommodated our DVD player, sound system and controller box easily. The draw is convenient for storing DVDs but a bit flimsy. Assembly was difficult because parts were not numbered or labeled and the back panel would not fit requiring an alternate attachment method. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the rubber wood. Far better than most other TV stands made with fiber board.

I purchased this stand to put a 43 inch tv on. All the pieces arrived undamaged and the pieces are heavy. Lots of reviewers indicated a problem assembling the drawer but I had no problem. I am a 60 year old female and I was able to assemble the entire piece by myself although I admit it would have been helpful to have a second pair of hands when putting the shelving together. I did purchase two wooden 28 inch legs to bolt to the underside of the back table top for added stability as the stand appeared to be a bit top heavy. The company sends hardware to attach the stand to the wall which would not only look cheesy but force damage to a wall and eliminate being able to move to a different corner if need be. I stained the top and shelves and painted the drawer and sides to match existing furniture and I am very happy with the results. Although the pieces come sanded, you should still lightly sand before you stain or paint for best results. Only downside is that price is $35 cheaper now than what I paid but not enough to make me regret my purchase.

I bought this because it was advertised as solid wood furniture. I found that appealing along with it appearing sturdy, but not much else. It was a real pain to assemble (definitely requiring 2 people), thus the 3 star rating. I can't get the drawer installed yet onto the drawer slides. Hope to figure that out soon. Also, the packaging had a significant gash in it upon delivery which marred the top piece. The TV covers it, so not a big deal in the end. Not sure I would buy this brand again.UPDATE: After researching other reviews for the unfinished version of this product, I was finally able to install the drawer. One reviewer noted that the drawer only installs one way. I noticed after the first attempt at assembly the drawer sides were placed incorrectly. I had to take apart the drawer and switch the sides (parts marked as G). Now the drawer fits and functions without a problem.

I love that it is real wood. I hardly needed the directions. I had no problems putting it together. Ok, a little with the drawer but, that was a duh moment on my part. I would recomend pre drilling small screw guide holes on the support bar to prevent cracking. I would have liked it to have been more supported in the back. It also would have been nice if I could have found it pre finished in white so I didn't have to paint it. Otherwise, I'm exceptionally pleased with the quality.

This is a very nice-looking, sturdy piece of furniture (still awaiting finishing, but oh well). Apparently, at some point this furniture kit was being sent out without drawer slides pre-mounted at the shop, creating difficulty in assembling for a significant number of reviewers. However ~ luckily! for us challenged assemblers ~ our kit arrived with drawer slides in place and all went smoothly. Loving it!

This is a very sturdy tv stand. It was very easy to put together...until we got to the drawer. You need to make sure the glides on the side pieces of the drawer will go into the glides on the sides of the stand before putting the drawer together. We had trouble getting the drawer in, but after laying the stand down (this was before putting on the top) it went in easier. We did have to move one of the slides because the drawer didn't fit straight across. We have great grandchildren & didn't want to take a chance on it tipping, and didn't want to attach it to the wall so we attached legs we made from a stained to match 1x1. We attached these with small decorative furniture braces.

I was impressed as I was removing all the parts and pieces of lumber - with the wood and imagining it stained and finished. I've purchased and assembled many DIY furniture items before, so this was going to be a piece of cake... I thought! When attempting to assemble the first two pieces I found it difficult to insert one of the camlocks into the provided hole. Well, the hole wasn't drilled deep enough to allow the camlock to be inserted all the way. Calling the support line informed me that only hardware can be replaced and if there was a problem with any of the lumber, it has to be returned to the seller! GREAT! I still have most of the package it came in and I've initiated a return/replacement with Amazon. Admittedly, Amazon makes it easy to return items... but, the challenge was in repackaging everything back into the box it came in. What a pain! Here's hoping the next one will be manufactured properly. If the next one is good I'd be happy to bump up the rating.FOLLOWUP: Received the replacement and assembled it with no problems. This table had a crack in the top near the back. I decided that this was something I could live with - the crack adds a little character. For the price I can accept a few small flaws and upped my rating from 2 to 4 stars as it really does look great stained and finished.I like these pieces enough that I've purchased additional items and I'm pleased with them also.
