Car, Van and Caravan windscreen Permit, Ticket and Note Holder (Avoid Parking Fines) (3)

I've given this a couple of weeks now to see how it performs in everyday use and overall I feel happy to give it five stars based on this. Taking note of the feedback in other reviews that warned against sticking it on too low toward the dashboard I was careful to mount it a little higher and tested the tension by holding it in place. When satisfied with where to put it I cleaned the area of glass to ensure a good sticking base and carefully fitted the Tikettak in place. It stuck easily and after smoothing it to ensure the best adhesion I slipped my parking permit in place to make sure it worked as well as I'd hoped, which it did. It's in the perfect place now to display any permit or ticket properly pinned against the glass so it doesn't slip. Since it's cheap, British made rather than the usual Chinese, and purports to be made from plastic resistant to UV etc. I feel this little gem should do me good long service. Certainly it's made it easier for me to clearly and safely display my parking permit at work now, whereas before it kept sliding down, blowing loose or generally being a pain. Hopefully I won't break it, but if I did I'd buy another to replace it without hesitation, so if you're looking for one of these clips to deal with tickets and permits then I'd recommend you give this one a try any day.

I must say that the little thingy exceeded my expectations! The product is of good quality, and the design is sleek, adding a touch of style to my vehicle. It is incredibly practical and functional, effortlessly holding permits, tickets, and notes without any risk of them falling out. When I initially received my order, there was a minor issue with the holder. I reached out to the seller, and they were incredibly kind and responsive. They immediately sent a replacement without any hassle, ensuring that I had a perfect product in my hands. Recommended wholeheartedly.

This is an amazing little gadget. My husband received a parking fine in Richmond because he did not have a ticket displayed, however he had bought a ticket costing £3.50 for 90 minutes, but on closing the door of the car it blew off the windscreen without our knowledge, hence receiving the ticket for it not being displayed on the windscreen or dashboard. Most ticket machines do not issue a ticket you can stick to the windscreen, therefore the TIKETTAK is ideal as it fixes securely to your windscreen. It is made of clear plastic & is basically unseen unless you are really looking for it. Your parking ticket slips into the side of it which is held very securely. I wish I had bought one of these years ago, it certainly would have saved me some money over the years. I bought 5 so that my husband & I have one each in our vehicles & I gave 1 each to our children for their cars. As far as I am concerned this is a must buy product & is so reasonably priced.

I have attached Tikettak parking permit holders to two cars. Its a simple idea and easy to attach but the backing tape was fiddly to remove. Too early to tell how long they will stay stuck on for.

I owned a Volvo v70 estate that had one of these fitted as standard. Upon it's demise I bought a Jaguar sportbrake which has nowhere near the attention to detail that Volvo lavish and doesn't have such refinements fitted. Once having had the benefit of one of these gadgets you find it irritating to have to live without one. I was thrilled to discover this aftermarket accessory. It doesn't disappoint and fulfills it's role perfectly, securing parking tickets and passes from flying about the cabin, or taking flight and disappearing through the window. I was perturbed to see the adhesive strip was white upon opening from the packet as I wanted a discrete fit, but relived to discover that once the tape was removed it was black. I fitted mine at low level on the passenger side, as often a ticket is inadvertantly left in it and would be a distraction if on the drivers side. I recommend testing the position first before removing the tape to expose the adhesive as there is one chance only to get it right. Clean the glass area thoroughly with a solvent/ white spirit, then polish with a clean lint free cloth. It adheres easily and feels very secure once fitted, and clamps the ticket well against the windscreen. My order was for a twin pack ( which I didn't realise at the time) so I fitted the 2nd in my partners Audi TT. A warning here...due to the heavily raked windscreen I managed to drop it by fumbling about selecting the appropriate position, whereupon it vanished behind the windscreen surround trim. It was difficult to fish out, I almost admitted defeat at retrieving it, but persevered with a wooden stirring stick (always worthwhile picking a few of these up when in McDonalds, very useful ! ) with double sided tape on the end managing to retrieve it eventually. Having learnt my lesson, I attached the aforementioned stick with sellotape to the end of the clip to assist with positioning, then pulling it off once secured. These have been fitted for a couple of weeks now and have remained secure through all temperatures. A worthwhile and pleasing purchase of an item that you don't realise you need until you have one!

I have been searching for ages for a suitable device to keep parking badges etc clearly visible on the windscreen, while making it easy to switch the badge between cars. Tried various things - rubber suction things (tend to fall off eventually, especially in hot weather). clear sticky-backed envelopes (impossible to transfer between cars). The Tikkettak idea is exactly what I have been searching for. It is very similar to a clip which is built in to the windscreen pillar of a Volvo, but you can put it on either side of the windscreen, very easy to fit, almost invisible, and because they are cheap and easy to fit, you can have one in each car which makes it simplicity itself to move a badge when needed. Absolutely delighted. Wish I had discovered these ages ago. The service from the supplier was also excellent - the clips arrived within three days of my placing the order. (I realise this sounds a bit like a fake review. It isn't. I am just really pleased to have a problem solved so simply and cheaply.)

The most value-for-money item I have ever bought in 2016 (and, again, in 2017 so far): 1- Very simple (kinda makes you laugh on how you didn't think of selling it yourself) 2- Very Reliable. It stick very well on the windshield 3- It's easy to slip parking ticket (pictures, notes, etc ...) I re-bought another one because when I removed the holder from my old car, I could not remove the adhesive material as well from the windscreen. To be fair, I didn't spend even two minutes to take it off, I was in a hurry to sell my old car. My point is that this holder is 100% excelenet and worthy and recommended. I would to add more 5 star and give it 10

Dose the job well fits easily to the window seem stong enough to hold a ticket with out being to tight i.e. the ticket slides in with out crumpling and comes out with out ripping. Only complaint (if I have to find one) would be the clips are clear but the sticker is white would look nicer if the sticker was clear as well .
