This mailbox is gorgeous. It compliments our new updated mailbox base that is made of cedar. The sturdiness and durability are second to none. It's just amazing. Highly recommend it. And it keeps the mail safe.

This is my second purchase of the same box, and post. Very nice looking box. Good quality. Good size. Only complaint is it seems to be very prone to rust. We are in coastal Florida with salt in the air. Definitely need to keep up with it and keep it rinsed and touched up with paint to keep rust at bay. Aluminum or powder coated would be ideal, but cost would certainly be much higher. I’ll try to keep up with the maintenance of this one better.

I just love this mailbox, it was super easy to install and instructions for both the box and matching post (purchased separately) was easy to understand for first timers. We are going from an house mounted unit to one on the curb. All we needed was a 5 gal pail, 2 bags of cement, a 4 x 4 post, and some lag nuts. We live in the northeast so we needed to go deeper to secure the post with a 4 x 4. If you get sakcrete fast setting cement there is no mixing. It’s heavy duty to say the least and very secure. I’m pleased with the purchase and glad I came across this on Amazon. There were a many on Etsy that advertised “mid century modern” for more than double the cost so I was happy to get the same design for so much less. I did end up getting the bronze numbers on Etsy as I could not find the ones I wanted on Amazon.

We were looking for a locking box but boy are the options abysmal for something that doesn't look like an industrial afterthought. Well, we went with this, but after it was installed, in person it is actually quite striking and very good looking. The looks are so good you'd think we did it purely for form and not function, but I sleep a lot better knowing our mail at the street can't be stolen or sniffed through.

Easy to install, great product

This a very easy to install, large, sturdy post box. My complaint is with the wood looking laminate on the box and post. It is ridiculously fragile. After installation, I windexed the box to remove dust from the install process, and shipping packaging. The paper toweling in my hand were three layers thick and my short fingernails putting pressure on the toweling to wipe off dust, (NOT stone dust- harvest dust and styrofoam packing dust) marked the laminate. It now looks like my mailbox was keyed. Oh well. Just be aware and try not to scratch it. HARDER to do on installing the post, which is around dirt, stone, road grit, the shovel, weed whacker, mower etc.

Solid, sturdy mailbox, lock is good quality, professional appearance for our business. Easy to install.
