Poor quality control.
Only one side of switch worked and other side just hummed. Opened case and found poor soldered connections (see Photo). Cleaned up soldered connections and it worked fine. Simple design, good components but poor quality control and obviously no final testing. If you have any problems with the device and you are handy with a soldering iron, clean up the soldered connections and it will work fine.

Perfect for switching between audio sources
Used this to switch between monitor audio feeds to my speaker and it has been great. Super simple to use. Love the physical toggle switch.

Solid product that does exactly what it says it will do
I generally wait a whole month before writing product reviews. I like to live with the product and use it regularly to get a clearer idea of the product’s quality, durability and functionality. This switcher performs as advertised. I use it to toggle audio output between a Mac mini and miniPC. In my testing, the unit is solid and there have been no issues. The toggle switch has a nice tactile response, with three states: Left input, off, right input. If you plan to purchase the device, you will need to supply at least one additional 3.5mm audio cable. The unit includes one cable only.Very happy with this product overall.

Pops and hum are a deal breaker
Ok, so this product is kinda pricey for what it does. For reference, $20 can buy a decent pair of powered Creative Pebble computer speakers, offering much more functionality than a mere switch in a box. Ok, well, whatever... it's a niche product, solving a very specific problem. And a product can be priced at whatever the market will handle. And, I bought it... so that proves that it's still not too expensive for solving a specific problem (borderline, shall we say).Unfortunately, it DOESN'T effectively solve that most basic and simple problem. When I have my powered Edifier monitor speakers connected and powered on, switching between headphones and speakers produces unsettling pops on the speakers. Worse, even when switched to headphones, the speakers are picking up some hum, and touching the metal switch box creates pops from the speakers. Clearly, this thing isn't isolated and wired properly to protect connected devices from picking up noise.I was tempted to open the product to see how it is wired inside, since I strongly suspect that all the neutrals are connected up and only the positive wires are being run through the switch. If this is the case, then all sorts of interference could occur across the device signals, creating circuits through the neutral wires. Possibly, even, the neutrals may be making contact with the box enclosure, allowing static from touching the box to enter the signal, or allowing the connected devices to ground through the person touching the box.In summary, this product has a simple and focused problem to solve, so all it needs to do is to solve that problem well. Don't introduce noise, either when switching, or - even worse - constantly during playback. The makers of this product need to go back to the drawing board and do a proper job of designing it.

Don’t expect much.
Like most of these switches, it’s extremely overpriced. Having said that, it’s in the lower end of cost for them. It doesn’t feel cheap but the parts are not quality. When you switch the audio source there is an audible “pop” that happens through the line. It also introduces a faint electrical interference hum to your line. If you can solder I’d recommend just getting the parts and making your own or spend the money on a better switching system if you need hi-fidelity.
