This foam roller implied itself as being exceptionally strong and it is, descriptions though of 'bone rattling' might be a little overstated however. It is pretty firm but not 'hard,' there is a little give to the foam.I have the expensive brand name competitor as well, the same one pictured in their comparison graphic. This one is indeed more powerful, but only slightly more so. Either one will do the job. The raised bumps are the main difference, if those are more helpful to your needs than a smoother, softer roller then this is the one for you, the bumps can be helpful for knots or be a problem depending on your needs.Both feel like high quality products. I can fully sit on either one with 220 lbs and they don't notice at all.This one charges by USB C which is much more convenient, this standard is long overdue. All you need is a USB cable which is provided. I have a drawer full of chargers and tire of having to label each one to remember what goes to what.The circumference is slightly larger than the competitor but not enough to matter. The controls are easy and intuitive, just push the button. The pouch is nice and has an adjustable strap with pockets.At half the price of the brand name when on sale, it is definitely recommended. It just depends upon whether you like the raised bumps or not.

The media could not be loaded. This yoga foam roller is the right size and foam hardness for me, easily massaging deep muscles and perfect for post-workout recovery. I think the best part is the backpack! You can put the muscle roller in a backpack, then carry it and adjust it to the back you want to massage, so you don't have to hold it all the time. Very good design!

I’ve use numerous rollers, and my preference has always been the firmer the better, but if this roller didn’t vibrate, I doubt that I would use it, at least not for my lower back. My first thought on experiencing the roller’s vibration, even at a low setting, was, “bone rattling.” I’d been experiencing a bit of a neck pain and I thought I’d rest the back of my neck on the roller as if it were a normal roller. Big mistake! I’m glad my brains didn’t rattle out of my head.Fortunately, I didn’t entirely give up on the roller. I started out on my legs and once I’d gotten used to it I found the vibration worked great on my inner thighs, a part of my body that I had never been able to get at with any of my other rollers. My legs felt great after I had worked them over. The vibration was great on my hips as well. Once I got over attempting to use the roller as if it were a non-vibrating roller and concentrated on letting the vibrations do the work I saw this roller did indeed have a place in my pre and post workout routines. Although, I don’t believe that “foam roller” is an accurate label for this vibrator. It is much to firm to be a comfortable roller and I still don’t use it on my lower back.The vibrator comes with a nice carrying case. The documentation says in part, “The foam rollers comes with a delicate portable mesh backpack that can be not only to store workout recovery equipment, but also to adjust to your comfortable area for massage by using adjustable Velcro. “ Which seems to hint that the case might have some use in enhancing the muscle relieve of the vibrator but I saw no examples of such a use, although using the case might temper the firmness of the roller a bit.Anyway, when all is said and done, I like using the roller.

What a game changer! This is an incredible product that not only helps me with blood circulation but has helped my muscles recover faster than ever. I love the vibrating technology it’s so much better than your traditional foam roller.

As a former athlete I’ve had many rollers in the past, and none of them have helped with sore muscles as much as this one! It has so many vibration levels to choose from and has a texture that help you relieve muscle tightness, soreness, and inflammation!

This thing is AMAZING! It’s almost too powerful!

I can't figure out the value proposition here. It's a foam roller, but it's so firm that it's uncomfortable to use; and it's a vibrating massager, but all of the vibration settings are so powerful/rapid that it rattles your whole body as well as the room you're using it in. Great concept but needs a lot of improvement.Edit after less than two months of occasional use: this thing is dead. Won't take a charge, so it's even less useful than it was before!
