helpful workbook for early elementary writing
We love Handwriting Without Tears. This book was the next logical step after using Printing Power for my son in our homeschool environment. It's easy to use and intuitive, all while providing some basic Language Arts structure and vocabulary. 86 pages long and consumable, as a workbook.

Highly recommend!
If you have a child that is easily frustrated with writing, this book is for you! Not only does this book help with letter size uniformity, but it also helps the child to really grasp the idea of what it is to write a story, and how to begin! My son has been going through this book like a breeze. This truly has been such a wonderful tool to help my apprehensive young writer!

One of the Best Writing Programs
Learning Without Tears is an excellent program and Building Writers helps students work on their handwriting while also building in elements of narrative, informative, and opinion writing.

Great for creative writing!
Handwriting without tears is worth it. The easy to follow lessons/pages are great for open and go style. The way that is is presented fosters the push creative writing. Engaging questions and pictures to guide kids in the writing process.

I like the pace these writing book have. I also like the variety of writing subjects.

Great writing practice
The media could not be loaded. I really like how easy HWT books are to teach. This book explores different writing types ( informational, opinion, etc) as well as teaches paragraph structure. Overall my kids really enjoy using the HWT books.

Too simple
The workbook barely teaches any writing skills. The sample sentence are just a few the short simple sentences without decorations.
