At first reading the docs I was confused why anyone would want to have multiple outs and one in. Turns out this piece works both ways, if only I would’ve spent more than 1 sec. reading the docs.So onto the piece, packaging is minimal, it’s no apple product but is that what any of us are expecting?Fit and Finish is excellent for the price.Design, If I had any qualms is with the LEDs for the channel selection. Not high end but also vintage in feel so actually they nailed that.Functionally it works GREAT. It does what is advertised and adding another link in my system is always stress inducing. Don’t worry though, channels hooked up or blank are dead quiet… sort of.And this is why I’m writing this, if there is no active (I.e. powered) signal running to the unit BUT there are cables plugged in you will get a “tone” that will make you think it’s broken. It’s not, it just knows something is plugged in but there’s no active signal. I learned this by not powering on my phono-preamp, RCA plugged in and strange but loud tone. It was telling me I forgot something.Excellent device that I have a specific use case for but also looks the t**s.
