AXIL XCOR PRO Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds, HearPRO Enhancement

This is my second pair of Xcor Pro's. The first pair is still working fine after 3 years, and I like them so much that I got a few of my shooting buddies to buy them, and I bought this pair recently for my Wife. Enough NRR to shoot pretty much anything anywhere without needing muffs over them (I've shot everything from 5.56 SBR through 300 PRC and 12ga and was never uncomfortable), and the sound boost/cutoff works seamlessly. You can have effortless conversations with people around you naturally, and I don't even notice the cutout, it just works. Great for action-shooting too, they fit well, come with a bunch of different ear piece sizes, and stay put even with running and aggressive movement. I've used them for 6+ hours at a time and the battery was still going strong. The charging case can fully charge the earbuds several times before needing to be recharged itself, and I haven't ever had issues with the ear buds fitting in the proper place in the case to make a good charging connection. The magnets in the case hold the earbuds securely in place while charging. I use them for lawnwork as well as shooting sports, and they work great to play music and cut out the loud volume of the mowers and small engines. The music sound quality is good, but not great. A pair of good quality music-specific ear buds will have noticeably better sound quality (with no NRR), but it's plenty good enough for background music, and is way better than the Walkers I used previously. They're not the cheapest option, but buy once/cry once. I bought the pair of Walker in-ear protection first, and ended up trashing them over poor fit, bad sound quality, and terrible battery life and buying these instead, and they're fantastic.

I owned the Axil XCOR Pro (purchased from the Axil store on Amazon, September of 2024) and loved them at first. That's the problem: they don't last. After less than two years of careful, low to moderate use, always fully charged before each outing and never left paired to a phone to drain the battery, they now die in about an hour. I lost power mid-round during a sporting clays outing because of it. This is not abuse. This is not misuse. This is a battery that can't hold a charge anymore, on a device that costs over $200. Axil's support team confirmed there is no repair or battery replacement option, ever, for this device. When a unit like this fails, the only path is to buy a brand new one. What really soured me was the "resolution." I was offered a 55% discount code as a goodwill gesture. In practice, that code is calculated against a $307.67 "MSRP" that only exists on Axil's website as a crossed-out reference price next to a 35% off badge, the badge that already gets you to the real, everyday price of $199.99. That's the price I paid two years ago and the price it's sold at everywhere else, including Amazon. So the $307.67 isn't a real market price, it's a made-up number used to make a discount badge look bigger. Applied against the actual $199.99 price everyone already pays, the "55% off" code only comes out to about a 30% discount. When I pointed this out with the actual math, support ignored it and just restated the same offer, noting only that they'd authorized 5% more than their "standard" discount as a special gesture for my situation. A 5% bump is meaningless. Axil also told me their own lithium battery is only expected to last 2-3 years. For a $200+ electronic hearing protection device, that's a short window, and support seemed to treat that as an acceptable answer rather than a problem worth fixing. Combine that admitted lifespan with the fact that there's no repair or battery replacement option at all, and it's hard not to conclude the business model here is built around existing customers being pushed to buy a brand new unit every 2-3 years rather than a product meant to be maintained and kept working long term. If you're considering this product, know what you're signing up for: a battery that won't outlast the warranty window by much, no repair option when it fails, and a support team whose "generous" discount offer doesn't hold up to basic math. I've moved on to a different brand.

I bought these for ear protection while shooting. I wore them on the Turkey hunt this spring and it's crazy how good the hearing enhancement is. I had to try different sizes of the foams to get my size correct and these are the first ear buds that stay in my ears. Every other I've tried just fall out,so I've been using over the ear type for years at the gym. The Xcor Pro are so comfortable that I forget that I'm wearing them. The bluetooth audio sound quality is the best I've heard and the protection while shooting works perfectly. It does take a bit to get used to the hearing enhancement. The outdoors make a lot of noise that you didn't know was there. You can hear everything. Even small streams will seem loud. There is what some people call a hissing sound when you have the enhancement on. I have over 30 years of Audio experience and can tell you that is completely normal when you are increasing the volume of something that doesn't have the energy to make it loud. You get used to it pretty quickly and your brain will learn to filter it out to the point that you will check to see if the enhancement is still on. I highly recommend these for Shooting, Hunting, or just wearing them for Music.

They work, but I'm not in love with them. . The foam tips for really blocking loud noises were uncomfortable. The rubber tips for less noise canceling are fine, but that's not what I really needed them for. The speakers are kind of tinny. The buds are difficult to get out of the case. Maybe my ear canals are just funny shaped, your mileage may vary.

I bought these after much research and from the manufacturer. I would classify these as mostly promises and few deliveries. If all you are looking for is good hearing protection that allows you to listen to music and maybe hear normal stuff around you in a low noise environment- these check those boxes (and do it well). The things not done well - the Shooting/noise "canceling" : This is accomplished by simply cutting the mic off if a loud sound is heard.... like crinkling paper, someone closing the snaps near you, clapping, or any other sharp noise (not only loud noises). This means that if you are in a noisy environment - and not listening to music - all you have is expensive ear plugs. Not a filtered signal that helps your hear better than ear plugs. Question: If you are not transmitting harmful levels of noise on the ear buds, why would you need to foldback limit the mic.....It would be cleaner to just attenuate the level to the max safe amplitude and continue to transmit. Add some filtering or AI filtering for voice options and maybe have something good. - charging: I have had these for less than 3 months. I open the case and put them in my ears and they will invariably say "battery low" in one ear withing a couple minutes. No music, just connected. - Microphone - if you plan to use these for dual use, like for conference calls. I have had no luck getting the Mic to function. The only thing others say on the call is "We can barely hear you" until i take it off of these ear buds. -Comfort - The ear protection inserts are effective, if you get them in far enough, however, it is a bit like stuffing a plastic pipe in your ear. takes a bit of time to feal 'normal'. Then because it is semi rigid the skin in your ear will loosen around it and it will fall out. The silicone ones are much more comfortable, but do not have the full sound protection. This would be fine if it worked for something other than shooting or operating machinery.

These earbuds work really well. Not only do they work great on the range, they work really well in network environments that have a lot of fans running on the equipment in the racks. Also, being able to hear what's going on around me is great! The only two negative things I would have to say is that they are not very comfortable after about 30 minutes and when using them as a headset, people cannot hear me very well.

UPDATE: I've used these on six occasions in the last 3 weeks. The last two times I had Bluetooth issues. One earbud connected and the other would not. I had to do a factory reset on the entire thing. The last time I used them one of the earbuds would drop audio continually, come back in out of sync, and then drop again. Once again I had to factory reset. I want to like these but unfortunately the quality, while better than Gloryfire, is just not there. Also these do not work with radios as they don't have the right Bluetooth protocols. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I tried the Axil Xcor and the Gloryfire shooting ear protection. Axil won hands down. Lets talk about what needs improvement with the axil first though. The touch control is problematic in the field. If you are wearing gloves (which I almost always am in the field or on the jobsite) then you usually have to remove them to operate it. I would much prefer a physical button. Also there is no feedback letting you know when you actually touched it (like airpods have). I do wish there was more retention besides just the foamies in your ear canal but I will say they do stay in surprisingly well. Sound quality over bluetooth is meh but acceptable. Lastly the bluetooth overall could be better, sometimes I have issues getting it to disconnect from my phone, some odd devices (like radios with bluetooth for communication) don't pick up the voice channel well but talking on a cellphone works fine.) Now the good. Sound passthrough is great, I wish it had audio amplification as well but the bluetooth version does not but I'm willing to give that up. Voices sound NATURAL and actually come through. After trying the gloryfire and not being able to understand anyone, even in a quiet environment, the axil were a nice change. They are light and while the foam expands much faster than I like because it can be hard to squish and get them in they fit very well and easily with only mild discomfort (normal for me with foamies). Overall great product with only minor improvements needed. I really wish they would team up with decibullz and use those earplugs with these electronics, that would be even better.

Well after going back and forth on my decision to purchase based off reviews, I pulled the trigger. I used them yesterday (4/22/26) for the first time at the range. I charged them fully the night before. I turned them on with the sound on so that way I could hear the conversations easily, at 7:34 am. I also connected my phone and had music playing all day. I did not turn them off until they died at 2:30 pm. They lasted 7 hours. I did experience disconnection one time but it auto connected back to my phone almost immediately. Even with the music playing, they still was able to block out the gunshots sound. I used the foam plugs which is recommended for the range. We continuously shot 9mm and .223 all day. The sound protection was very good and I did not need to use any extra protection as others have stated. As far as the whistling or hissing, mine only done this when I pulled one ear out to adjust it. I could hear the whistling while it was out but once I put it back into my ear there was no whistling. I am use to wearing ear muffs at the range instead of the buds. It is going to take some getting use to having them shoved into my ears. Overall I am very pleased with these earbuds. I would recommend them (as of now).

Los audifonos son de muy buena calidad, el estuche es comodo para transportarlos, la calidad del sonido es muy buena, pero lo mejor es la supresion del sonido a la hora de las detonaciones, protege muy bien los sonidos fuertes para no lastimar tu oido. Lo recomiendo ampliamente ya que tambien, puedes distinguir de que lado probiene el sonido ya que al ser independientes el sonido se filtra del lado correcto para que asi puedas distinguir si fue de tu lado izquierdo o derecho.
