Stowe Through Time Paperback – 15 Aug. 2011

As a boy who went to school at Stowe in the 1960s, we always had a sense that this was a special historical place without understanding why amongst the everyday hubbub of school life. I think this is a beautiful little book, with great pictures and concise descriptions, which sets the historical drawings and photographs against recent photographs populated with real people. I just wish there had been a book like this in 1966.
