super fun. 12v 100ah pushes my fishing paddle board about 3mph, plenty of speed for trolling. i hook it up to 24v when i'm going out for fun and i hit 6 no problem. well worth the money.

Put this on a Decathlon ITIWIT x100 3 seater. First impressions... - One propeller almost looks like a short shot from the injection molding(based on the sink mark). That has a bit of runout and was rubbing on the outer ring. The seller was quick to respond suggesting a solution that worked to fix the rubbing. - With about 420lbs+ onboard using a 12 V LiFePo4 battery it goes at 3.8 miles/hour at max throttle. (maybe I should have got two 12 V batteries instead of going for a higher capacity battery for faster speeds!) - Tends to turn to a side very slowly. It maybe due to wind, one motor being slow or whatever. Needs more testing. - The remote syncs quickly and automatically and has a lot of steps to adjust the speed. To turn quickly you have to take it off the cruise mode. Otherwise it turns slowly. - Did not use the fins it came with even though the dimensions looked very close and I could have made it work with the existing fin holders on my kayak. Drilled holes on the bigger fins I bought for my kayak and it worked. Will drill another set of holes later and route the wire closer to the kayak body later. Did this so that the cable don't sag down too much.

I got this thruster kit for my paddle board. The weekend after I put it on, on my first voyage, the right thruster stopped working. The cruise control never worked. And very soon the remote started beeping incessantly. As lone can see in the video, the circle for the right thruster is missing. I contacted the company and they said it was the thruster. Turns out the thruster did go bad. I opened the remote and found a disconnected wire. Told the company, and they told me to solder it instead of sending me another one. They also told me I could order another one from them at $35. I was able to fix the wire, and I installed the new thruster. The remote is still having issues. Under a magnifying glass, I found some burnt looking circuitry. Don't trust this company or it's product.

I have this on my pro Angler 12 and fish the California delta works like a champ. Max speed is 3.6 to 4 mph and against the tide is 3.2. I recommend getting a 24 volt battery to get the more thrust out this motor, you’ll be suprise how much torque this motor has.

On my maiden voyage the left propeller disintegrated out of nowhere I didn't even know. I've ordered another couple propeller just in case. It still moves perfectly good with one can't wait till I fix it.

I put this on my OriCanoe origami canoe. The overall quality seems good but the fit and finish is not top notch, hence 4 stars. Unit was very easy to assemble and connect up electronically. The remote control came factory preset. I also like the extra props included. There’s a left and right prop should something damage one of the original. That’s a major plus. Haven’t put my canoe in the water yet but I can’t wait to test the thrust!

Remote not waterproof

I bought the product for accessibility to put on my paddleboard for being driven by a treadmill-powered electric generator and I've had good results with it. This allows a walk-on-water experience with handles for spinal support like a Rollator walker but on water rather than on land. When run from a battery the unit works well at 12 volts but does not work reliably at 24 volts as claimed (cuts out right away at 24 volts), so that is the only real shortcoming, but if used at low power like with the treadmill it works great.
