I could not be more pleased--or surprised. Buying this saved me from spending 500-800 bucks on a better stationary bike than the one I had that recently became unusable. If yo have smooth rear tire, as I do, the noise level is comparable with my last stationary bike, the quite quiet Yasudo. It was simple to set up -- I don't quite get why so many people complain about this. Maybe the instructions are improved, but I doubt it. Just look at the video and it will be plain as day. Took about 10 minutes. Also: contrary to the instructions, you DO NOT need to replae your rear axle with the supplied quick-release one. My ordinary 10-speed with fixed bolts on the rear wheel/axle fit snugly right into the capture mechanism, which could not be simpler, I should also say. I am very happy about this product. It also brings a new capability for those of us who used stationary bikes for years: you can use your normal bike gearset to change resistance. And you won't be warning down some friction or magnetic mechanism that will eventually go haywire (to me, the main problem with all stationary bikes.) Finally, the attachment mechanism is so simple that one can continue using one's bike for regular real-world excursions simply by detaching from the clamps. Simple and quick, if a bit of a pain to do. .

Given some of the negative reviews I was a little skeptical about purchasing this, people saying that it leans, feels wobbly, not enough resistance etc etc.. I am not experiencing these things but it doesn't mean that these issues can happen, as far as resistance goes I think that if you go through the gears on your bike that the resistance increases, I'm quite pleased with it, I cannot review the durability and longevity of this since I've only had it a few days but it seems like it'll hold up well. Just make sure your rear wheel has a quick release installed otherwise I don't think this will work for you

This is good for indoor use. My bike hooked up easily, but I did have to order a separate axel for another bike. It seems like it will hold up. I use it for half hour cardio workouts, but I do wishes there was a bit more resistence.I chief complaint is that it can't get it level. It definitely leans to the left, but itn the end I put a bit for padding undert he left side and I am happy with it.No power, batteries, or wifi needed. Just listen to some.music and ride. Change gears to increase the resistence.Good value.

Can mount any bike - included skewer does not support 126 mm but all you need is a skewer with rounded lever, you can use the included skewer for the drive side. You do not need an account or to share any data with health apps that make you agree to collect your data and use for marketing. The unit is easy to set up and shift gears to control resistance, with the bike I am using it mounted slightly off from perpendicular but I shimmed the hinge with a business card, unit is very sturdy and I think great for the amount charged.

Overall rating based on the price point; at the < $175 this is a solid choice for a fluid indoor bike trainer. There are much better fluid trainers on the market, but at this price point this is a good quality trainer. If you find it on sale that is a bonus.Despite the sparse assemble directions, it goes together smoothly and you can be riding quickly after unpacking. The front legs cannot be fully extended to the locked position if you have a 29"-er, but it still rides steady, and it is stable getting on and off. If you over extend the legs the 29" wheel will hit the mat and you will grind down your tire and hear much more noise. For 26", 27.5" and 700's the fully extended legs should not be an issue. (It works fine for 29"-ers, just check your tire clearance regularly if it is placed on a soft mat).I wanted the ability to 'grind' at a steady pace and this works perfectly to add some resistance for a long steady pace. It is not silent, but not disturbingly loud -- I measured the sound at ~73 db on my Apple Watch running at about 70 rpm. That is equivalent to a vacuum cleaner, and that sounds about right.Edit: Some additional information about the noise level - the tire I am using is a knobby all-terrain tire so that adds to the noise level. A smooth tread tire will be quieter.

Im not using the included stand - I prefer the quick disconnect feature of my older Kinetic Stand. This unit is a fluid unit like the prior one (old company is now defunct.) This load (power) unit did drop into place on the older stand but is narrower. It also seems to offer less resistance. There are no published load ratings for this other that the subjective terms like "increasing load with faster speed". The flywheel is smaller than the Kinetic but the big unknown is how much load (wattage) is applied? More costly brands will provide specifications for the wattage they will dissipate. But as the Kinetic spare parts are no longer available, we will try this for a while.

I bought this Bike Trainer because I have not been able to take my road bike out due to the extreme heat here in the South West. I wasn't expecting to like it that much being indoors and such but this was a great buy and I am so happy I own this. It is easy to set up and hooks up great. There were reviews on here on how loud this is but honestly it is not there is the noise of your bike of course spinning but other than that I found it not noisy at all. It sets up very secure and cycling is a breeze with this. I'm happy I purchased it!
