I expected it would hold it's form better when made into shapes since it came with accessories to make people, animals or monsters, etc.

I was appalled that the product I received was used. The foam beads were spilled inside the box and the cards were missing. The foam beads had dirt and grass. Definitely returning this item for a refund.

This is a really fun activity. Unique and cleaner than activities like playdoh or kinetic sand! My 3 1/2-yr-old loves it! The accessories are fun. the icecream scoop is not strong enough to eject the foam but we have enjoyed the toy as it works to pull the foam out of the scoop with your fingers. Relatively clean, my dogs fur does cause the most problem. However, still easy to pick out of the foam. The foam itself is easy to pick up as it balls nicely and sticks together. For mom, the storage bin is the best part! Highly recommend overall!

My kids have had a great time with this set. The foam modeling material is a bit flakey in that some of the foam pieces break off in use. However this is only because the set is not overly sticky which is just as much a pro as a con. Just a warning to maybe use this at a place you can easily clean up. The included molds and cutters are fun and sturdy. Most of all, as the person storing and cleaning up I really appreciate the sturdy, plastic storage container. This was a mom win for occupying the kids device free this summer.

The beads were everywhere. They don’t stick together well and kids didn’t like them sticking between their fingers etc. Way messier than playdoh. Strong odor. not returnable - threw it away. I feel like I paid for the little extra items they don’t use!

If you are afraid of a mess, then this probably isn't for you. If you don't mind the mess, then it can actually be fun. Kids do tend to like it. They will have fun making shapes and stuff like that. It is really up to the adult on whether they want to use a product like this. A more solid dough may be more you liking if a mess is something to fear. Then again, dough can get pretty messy too.
