This smart wall controller is decent, though it has a bit of a learning curve. It’s compatible with several smart hubs, and once I figured out the setup, it worked as expected. The scene-triggering feature is handy, though I wish the buttons had a more responsive feel. It’s functional, but the build quality feels a bit lightweight compared to some other smart devices I’ve used. Overall, it’s a convenient controller if you want a simple way to manage scenes, though I’d recommend it more for basic setups than advanced smart home users.

First I should declare I use Home Assistant and Z-Wave.This was the first time I have tried to use a remote control. I read up and felt overwhelmed. Still the initial installation of the device was simple and took no time at all.The documentation regarding how to get the device into a useful state use with Home Assistant was minimal. The Home assistant documentation I looked up was confusing me.My poor limited brain was hurting. I thought why not just add a device triggered automation. All my suffering was alleviated. It took nearly 30 seconds to have a basic automation in and working. It is a doddle.All was working as I wanted after about 15 minutes. The only questions left are "Why did I not get this before" and "What ELSE can I get this to do". Well worth the money.

These are good buttons. They come with a wall mounting kit, but they are battery operated and can be used as a clicker that you carry around.They integrate well into HA, no issues there - make sure you have a Z Wave USB stick though. The button clicks and holds are recognised quickly in HA, and the device itself has a LED to indicate when you have pressed. button, which is neat.They are your standard buttons though, for ht price, I don't know what you are getting over some cheapap buttons. But they work well, there are no issues with them. But of this price, I would have expected some nice bonus features. it offers nothing a cheap hue switch doesn't.

This is a re-badged Sunricher product at an inflated price. It's cheap looking, cheap quality and cheap feel. Says it has S2 security but no mention in the manual on how to include it on to your network with S2 security.It's designed to be wall mounted, really designed for EU homes and not really for UK homes. Getting the actual remote out of the housing requires brut force and a screwdriver.I've yet to find a decent modern z-wave button/scene controller to replace my zigbee ones (Hue Dimmer V1). After several months living with this nasty tacky thing I've had enough.

I really wanted to like this switch, it would have been useful, but I found immediately that it was too small for any of the back boxes in my house, so without doing a bit of re-plastering, it wasn't much good for me.It feels quite cheap as well, and the buttons don't feel particularly responsive. It's a real shame, because this would have been a welcome addition to my smart home setup.

I was using a standard back box in plasterboard so it wasn't an issue but as stated in other reviews, the sizing is just slightly off so where I was going to use it initially in my brick wall back box it wasn't an option. It was simple enough to add into my system.
