I am giving 1 star because what I want from a smart light is reliability. I don’t mind too much if the setup is onerous - as long as I only have to do it once. I have purchased 3 of these strips now after I had great success with the first one - but after a month they started to refuse to “connect” to the Apple home system and I had to force reset all 3. Another month or so goes by and again, I have to force reset them all. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially as I have a dozen or so Meross plugs and they have been working flawlessly for 12+ months. I’m not sure why this happens, or whether I’ve just been unlucky (but 3 out of 3 is a pattern…). If this is the norm - my advice is to avoid.

I had this item shipped to me in the USA because Meross only offers the RGB version here. I wanted the RGBWW version. I needed to get a USA adapter to use and Meross tech support sent me an Amazon USA link to the adapter. Never had one issue with wifi connectivity, the adhesive is spot on, and the range of colors [especially the whites] is great. Also it's plenty bright enough with the whites - probably could be brighter with the colors - but I bought this one for the whites. Look at the attached pics - I say to Siri "counter teal" and I get teal - I say "counter purple" and I get purple. Love it.

Easy to install and integrate with Alexa. Plenty of adjustment options in the Meross app.

Order arrived quickly and I was very pleased with the value of these lights. I haven’t come across many HomeKit enabled strip lights at this price. The adhesive backing on the lights works well and I attached mine to the back on the TV. Overall pleased but note, they are not as bright or colourful as the Philips Hue range!

Work well, can cut to length, works well in app, easy to set up, but the only issue is lack of flexibility. I wanted to stick to the back of my TV, which I did, but the strip doesn’t handle corners well. Great app, can adjust colour, tone and brightness easily, works well with Alexa, as do all Meross products, just which they were more flexible.
