Ordered the 8ltr phoenix gravity filter with added fluoride filters. All set up and was pretty easy to do. I run the water through couple times to be sure. I put 5 litres in the top and seems that’s about right keep things flowing, adding back what you take out. So far the water tastes much better! The design seems smart and robust. There’s not much information on cleaning inside of the unit on website, but reading up soft cloth and white vinegar seems okay (I live in area with lots of limescale). I purchased a very sturdy metal Scandinavian style plant stand (adjustable) with round metal base from here, I find this fits in better with in my kitchen. Time will tell on how it holds up, so far I’m pleased with the purchase. Thank you phoenix gravity filters! 😊🫶🏻 I Will update in a year on how things are going.

Would be 5 stars but bottom container arrived damaged (no damage to packaging evident) with a dent as can be seen from the photos. Have emailed seller (17/06/24) but no response as yet. Great shame as item not cheap but impressed with the taste of the water. Item still usable but at £119????? Have asked for a replacement part and will update review if I hear from seller. 22/06/24 - good and prompt response from seller regarding damaged base and replacement part is on its way. Have tried a number of water filter option (PHOX, BRITAS, Aamzon basics etc) but this produces the best tasting water that I have experienced. Although expensive initial out lay the filters last longer and should prove much more cost effective in the long run - highly recommened.

Before use make sure you fill it up and drain it about 4 times until water coming out is crystal clear. I think the instructions recomment 3 but I did 5 just to be sure, though by the 4th the water was already clean. Definitely makes tap water taste much better 2 issues: this needs to be assembled but the instructions are not clear enough, I figured it out eventually but they could be better, its not step by step but rather just a diagram with all the components showing where they are in the final assembly. Second issue, dont overfill the container, if the bottom container has less room than the amount of water you add in the top container, water will leak from the sides where the top container sits, as the design doesnt prevent water from being filtered when the bottom container is full Good value for money, this was 120 pounds when I got it, the other version is 200 and all I saw it has is the logo of the company on the container, not sure why thats so much more expensive, just get this version

Great value super quality looks so nice in our kitchen didn't purchase the stand I had some wooden blocks it's on the water tastes so much nicer wish I had one sooner would of saved so much on the large bottles of evian iv been purchasing for my family game changer for certain...black Friday treat yourself

I initially thought parts were missing (my mistake) because i did not read the assembly instructions properly and customer service were so patient and helpful. Had it 8 months now and like it a lot because it is so quick and easy to use and very functional. It is compact enough to sit stable on draining board of sink while still leaving plenty of room for dishes drying rack. There is no need for a bigger more clumsy model because it takes just 30 seconds to fill it with a saucepan every couple of days with no faff at all. This easy convenience means it never runs out in our big household. Water tastes good and lab test reports on Phoenix website are very reassuring that most nasties are removed. It will not remove flouride of course (that needs a different special type of filter) but luckily I do not live in a region where flouride is added to tap water. If I did I would now be writing to Water Authority about big landmark court case in US recently. Judge there has decided evidence is now too strong re harm to bones & thyroid of pregnant mums and lowered IQ in babies and so has ordered that flouride must no longer be added to drinking water in that country (see Highwire on rumble). I hope Phoenix will soon bring out a filter which removes chloramine (none of common filter systems on the market do) because my local authority replaced chlorine 5 years ago with that disinfectant instead- even without any long term safety studies to verify that it won't damage friendly gut bacteria in microbiome. So I am still searching for a filter system with same good value and simplicity as this Phoenix one- but which also removes that chemical too.

I will supply two filters one works perfectly by that I mean water drips slowly through the filter into the water reservoir The second filter doesn’t seem to be filled with anything. The water is just flowing through it without any resistance. Therefore it’s not acting as a filter Other than that, the rest of the unit is in good order

I bought this because I wanted my family to have on tap filtered drinking water, no one fills up our filter jug and I don't want to mess around under the sink installing tap filters etc. It solved that problem, it holds enough water for a few days, when its time to fill up you'll still get a decent amount of water out by tilting it, so it's never empty. It looks nice being stainless steel (though the bits at the ends of filters are plastic - so it's not plastic free) it's well made, it went together easily, and the tap functions great and is easy for kids to use. The taste is fine - it's not as good as our filter jug (Klar), it seems drier and not as smooth, but then these filters don't need replacing as often, filter faster and my main objective is to just make sure most bad stuff is filtered out of the water which I trust this is doing. Maybe needs to be remineralised after filter? I don't know. Overall I'd definitely recommend this for someone looking to remove the hassle from filter jugs. Bear in mind you'll probably want a large jug or other method to refill this as its a pain to carry and balance.

Das Wasser schmeckt nach dem Filtern nach nichts (sowie es sein sollte) und merklich anders/ weicher als direkt aus der Leitung. Es schmeckt mir sehr gut und auch der Tee und Kaffee schmecken mit dem gefilterten Wasser noch mal besser. Ich nutze das Wasser zum Kochen von Nudeln, Reis etc., meine Tiere bekommen das gefilterte Wasser und ich trinke es natürlich auch viel. Als Single Haushalt mit Tieren fülle ich einmal am Tag neu auf, insbesondere wenn ich gekocht habe. Installation war einfach, hätte mir nur vielleicht ein Werkzeug dabei gewünscht, um den Zapfhahn anzuschrauben. Ging dann mit der Allzweckzange :o). Wenn man oben zu viel Wasser einfüllt, läuft es in der Mitte raus (im Nachhinein logisch...). Ich warte immer bis der untere Teil komplett leer ist, fülle oben bis zum Rand komplett auf und lasse durchlaufen. Das Durchlaufen dauert recht lange, ist für mich aber nicht relevant, da das Ergebnis stimmt. Definitiv Kaufempfehlung. Insbesondere auch im Hinblick auf die Krisenvorsorge. Zur Not könnte ich das Brauchwasser aus den nicht lebensmittelechten Kanistern durch filtern oder auch das Teichwasser des Rückhaltebeckens. Die Kartuschen werde ich einmal im Jahr tauschen und ein Paar auf Reserve legen. Pro Tipp: "der Halter für Gefäß mit Zapfhahn ÖGONTRÖST" aus Holz von IKEA passt wie angegossen unter den Wasserfilter, ist mit 3,99 Euro unschlagbar günstig und sieht schick aus :o).

Ik wilde al een tijdje een waterfilter aanschaffen en mijn oog was gevallen op de Travel Berkey omdat deze compact, portable, mooi en volgens alle recenties goed is. Iedereen die er een heeft is er laaiend enthousiast over. Alleen de prijs... Toen ik eindelijk besloot om het toch te doen, zag ik opeens deze Phoenix Gravity voor de helft van de prijs. Ik kon geen enkele review vinden, maar wel een video met instructies en de site van Phoenix waterfilters. Die zagen er goed uit dus ik besloot de gok te nemen. En ik ben heel blij dat ik dat heb gedaan. Het is een prachtige waterfilter en behalve het logo is het identiek aan de Travel Berkey, op twee punten na: hij is groter dan de Travel Berkey (8 liter ipv 5,7 liter), dus ongeveer gelijk aan de Big Berkey, en hij komt standaard met een roestvrij stalen kraantje ipv de plastic tap waarmee de Berkey is uitgerust en waar veel mensen over klagen. Nog een leuke bijkomstigheid is dat je er een mooie RVS thermosfles bij krijgt. Dus tel uit je winst! Voor ruim 250 euro minder dan een Big Berkey heb je een Phoenix Gravity met 10 jaar garantie, die waarschijnlijk uit dezelfde fabriek komt als de Berkey.
