I don't have parrots, so I can't vouch for that sort of use. I put a small water trough in our rural backyard for animals and birds. The animals do fine, but because of the trough's 90-degree edge, birds couldn't access the water unless it it filled to the brim. I bought this ladder and hooked it to the edge. Once the birds figured out how to use it, they use it constantly for accessing the water for drinking and to bathing. I like the fact that even as the water recedes, the birds can still get to the water. The ladder is well made, stable and hasn't corroded.

These are great. My parrot goes thru wooden ladders way too fast. These he climbs on and they will last. Lots of fun for him.

Works as expected. I placed this in a deeper outdoor bird bath to allow birds access to the bird bath.

I have a very "chewy" lovebird who destroyed a wood ladder in a matter of hours. She hasn't damaged this metal ladder at all, she tried, realized she couldn't destroy it and gave up. She climbs it just fine, it's not slippery at all. Super easy to clean. I'd definitely buy again.

This arrived and I was so surprised, it's a large size and very sturdy. Happy I got it, hope to find similar that is a bit smaller

I replaced the wooden ladders because I have a parakeet that is a chewer. The new ladders do not sit flush on the bottom of the cage so the birds won't go on them because they are wobbly. With multiple birds they are easy to clean, but I wouldn't buy them again because they don't sit flat.

I raised birds and every time I buy my birds ladders they chew them up within just a few days. They need them for climbing so I found these and thought I would try them. They were great. They're easy to clean and I just love them. They are quite large, so working a larger cage, I thought my birds would slide on them, but they didn't.

I may not have initially realized how bad this product was had it not been received broken. Looks like a can opener was used to make the holes for the rungs. If it comes apart the inside edges are razor sharp. A bird could easily slice off it's tongue if it came apart during play. The crevices around the can opened holes for the rungs would be difficult if not impossible to clean and sanitize. The top and bottom is plugged with cheap plastic who know if it's toxic. The cup hooks to hang it rely on the cheep plastic for hanging. The cup hooks were not stainless. Misleading description has you thinking it is all stainless it is not. Thankfully it was packed so poorly for shipping it arrived crushed. Otherwise I may have used it to the detriment of my feathered friend.
