Protective, Slightly Heavy, a Couple Minor Inconveniences
The cover was very easy to install. As others have noted, the cutouts are spot-on. It adds a considerable amount of weight to the device, especially with the type cover on, but that's typically a cost for decent protection. For the most part it's very easy to handle the device with this cover on as it gives some good grip around the edges, but the added weight would make it hard to hold it up to read for any length of time. That's not how I use my Surface so it's not a concern of mine but it's worth noting. I read several reviews that stated that the thin plastic strip that goes across the bottom is very flexible and moves around a lot during handling and I'll confirm that. I understand the need to have a thinner strip there (to allow connection of they type cover) but I'm guessing that's the weakest part of this case and will likely be the first thing to break. If I grab the device by the bottom to pull it out of my bag, that thin strip tends to flex and slide and it makes it a little less secure in my hand and feels like it may break at some point. Not a huge deal, just something I need to be aware of and be careful of. Another minor inconvenience is that the stylus needs to be snapped in high enough to allow access to the cutout to swing the stand out. If you snap it in too high it then blocks the headphone jack. So there is a sweet spot that allows access to about 75% of the slot to grab the stand and pull it out while still allowing access to the headphone jack. Again, not a huge issue and not a deal breaker for me. All the cutouts are VERY clean and precise and that's much more important to me than the position of the stylus. Also worth noting... those that said that the stylus clip is strong weren't joking... so much better than the magnetic attachment to the tablet. I used to lose the stylus in my bag all the time because it would get knocked off. Not in this clip... It's a solid grasp without being obnoxiously hard to remove the stylus when needed. And the clip seems designed in such a way that it will not weaken over time but that's just an assumption at this point. The strap on the back is something I'll likely never need, but I'll note that unlike some other tablet cases that have that feature, this one seems VERY durable. It's a rubber-ish strap with great grip (imagine a very thick, wide, resistance band), it's plenty tight and feels like it will outlast the case itself. Often times that strap is cheap elastic material that ends up staying stretched out or it frays and looks like crap. Not this one. It's very nice. It lays completely flat on the case back and is recessed just enough that it won't catch on things as I slide it in and out of my bag or if I slide the device across a table. The little rubber band in the corner that holds the type cover closed is a nice addition. It seems very thin where it attaches to the case itself, so we'll see if it holds up. But as a feature it's a good one if it doesn't break. All in all this seems like a great case so far and suits my needs perfectly. I use my Surface for work and I'm in and out of a vehicle often and I wanted some edge protection in case of a drop. I also use it on the treadmill and I feel better having some extra protection there as well.

Perfect Fit on Surface 7 Pro
Sometimes finding the right case for a specific device is very hit-and-miss. Add a few external accessories, and you are bound to have to make some kind of compromise. In this case, the Moko case was a home run for me! My Surface 7 Pro fit easily and perfectly into the case, no instructions required. The hand strap is very solid and firmly connected, if a bit tight on the palm, but I'd rather it start that way. The case itself felt sturdy and resilient, plus added protrusions just where necessary to keep the device away from surfaces, without making the case itself awkward. It took me a few minutes to figure out what the little rubber flap was for, but once I realized it could be used to keep the keyboard from flipping open, I fell in love with it right away! But most surprising was the fit and alignment of EVERYTHING. Not only are all the ports on the Surface fully accessible, but my right-angled headset jack fit smoothly in the audio port, lining-up perfectly with the edge of the case. Even with the added Surface Keyboard and pen, the keyboard fit seamlessly within the case borders, and attaching the pen did not block access to any of the other ports. Plus, the kickstand is still fully functional, which is really good. The physical engineering on these Surface devices is top-notch, and the Moko case does not force you to compromise any of it's features, with one TINY exception.... the Surface power cord doesn't just jump into place any more... you do have to somewhat 'tuck' it in between the Moko ribs to make sure it is connected and charging. It's worth noting this, but not worth a drop of rating, IMO. An excellent protector for your Surface 7, well worth the price - you wont be disappointed!

Fits great but adds bulk (as expected). Your keyboard may start to get noisy when typing.
I have had 4 Surface Pros and I love them for many reasons, not the least is that they are small, thin, and light. I never put a protective case on any of them because that would defeat the purpose of buying such a thin, light laptop. However, after cracking my 3rd screen, I decided that it was time to bite the bullet and start using some protection against falls. When the screen cracks on a surface pro (I've had a 3, a 5 and this is a Surface 7) it costs around $450 to repair but the worst part is that Microsoft takes almost a month to get it back to you. I know people who have had screens replaced by local repair shops but it turns out that most all repair places use parts taken from old laptops and, in most cases, those failed after a short time. If you try and buy a Surface Pro screen online, you will see that they are all (at least from what I have seen) reconditioned and only warrantied for a couple of months. You'll also see a high rate of fail if you read the reviews. As a result, I decided to get a new laptop and protect it this time (and send my old laptop to Microsoft and wait a month to get it back). I can't say that I love this cover, it is certainly functional, it seems as if it would protect the laptop (I'd prefer not to find out) and it does offer everything that is in the description. I especially like the hand strap on the back that helps it from falling out of your hands and the pen holder which will hopefully prevent me from losing the pen. Both are tight, i.e., it's hard to slip my hand in the hand strap and it's hard to get the pen in and out of the holder. I am assuming that this is because it is new and that they both will loosen up a bit as they get used. As such, I consider this a positive and not a negative. Another nice feature is the strap that holds the keyboard in place when it is folded. One other good feature is that the power switch and the volume keys are covered so that they are protected from spillage and dust. All in all, the features of this cover are well thought out and the layout is perfect for my Surface Pro 7, all of the peripherals fit on with no problem. While it is big enough to make me feel that I have lost the value of a small laptop, it's really not all that big or thick, just bigger and thicker than I prefer. I do like the fact that this model uses the Surface Pro laptop stand. Others that I looked at use the case's own stand which looked to me as if they'd be stable in the horizontal position, but not in the vertical position. With that said, I don't use the laptop in the vertical position very often and, with this case, you can only stand it vertically on the right-hand side since the left-hand side has the pen holder which would make it unstable. If you have a USB peripheral attached, you can't stand it on its right-hand side either. The bottom line (except for what follows) is this: It's a protective case, it needs to be somewhat larger than the laptop and will add weight to the laptop if it's going to be able to do its job. While I'm not a fan, the size and weight is a personal issue for me and I bought this expecting it to be just what it is. If someone can invent a paper-thin protective cover, I'm in; until then I think this is about as good as you can do in terms of size and weight. My one disappointment is that, after attaching the case, my keyboard chatters and bounces and makes a lot of noise as I type. You can feel the keyboard bouncing as you type, it's pretty annoying. If I lay the keyboard flat the noise, obviously, will go away but I have a difficult enough time typing on the slanted keyboard. If I lay a book under the keyboard, I can somewhat eliminate the chatter but I shouldn't need to do that. Other than the keyboard issue, this is an excellent product.

lighweight, smooth, functional
I spent hours searching for a good case for my Surface Pro 2017, nothing looked good enough, eventually I gave a try to Kensington version and it turned out to be heavy and unreasonably expensive, so returned and got that one from MoKo. PERFECT fit, lighter than Kensington, the shape is slimmer, hole cuts are smother, and... $12 cheaper, so you can make your own conclusions :) I would recommend it. UPDATE: after 4 month of use: The case is still perfect, all ports are precisely cut so it is easy to connect USB hubs, eternal SSDs or headphones and I have no problem with frequently detaching and attaching the keyboard. I enjoy the rubber handle. UPDATE: 10 month later the case looks as new and Surface doesn't have a single scratch despite trips to the beach, countless airport checks at the customs and accidental floor drops from the reader falling asleep. Just one thing to mention - one of my wired headphones with a L-angle plug requires an adapter to fit inside the headphone-jack with this case. UPDATE: 1 year and 11 month later :) - the tablet as well as the case itself are still perfectly intact (that thin plastic bar at the bottom next to keyboard is also fine - it is a bit elastic, but turned out to be strong enough to survive for almost 2 years). I have to notice that I had little pleasure unplugging small USB drives, fingerprint reader, or Logitech adapter for MX Master mouse from the single tablet's USB port - these things are so small and short, that once plugged in with the case on there is very little left for fingers to grab, so it is hard to pull out the device (that's what she said). P.S. BTW I use this case with Surface Pro 6 and my Mom with Surface Pro 5 (2017), so it fits perfectly both models. I 'm sure that other owners of aforementioned models, who claimed that the case doesn't' fit, simply got a defective products. Good luck! P.S.S. This February (2020) I've got Surface Pro 7 (that one with a USB-C port and Iris Plus Graphics) from my employer, they bought me this case (I asked for it) and the keyboard with a builtin fingerprint reader - the case perfectly fits version 7, exactly the same way (!) as version 5 and 6, so I still would recommend it.

Awesome case! Just needs one or two tweaks
I do really like this case. I take my surface pro 4 on the go a lot and into gyms to train clients so I'm confident in its ability to protect my surface. I have a screen protector on it as well and nothing seems to get in the way so far. I have full functionality. What's nice is the buttons work as well. The little strap in the back feels sturdy as well. I waved my hand around pretty violently and it felt like it was apart of my hand. I will say I have a slight issue with the edges. The power cord slides in relatively easily, but I do have a hard time every so often. I have a bigger issue with the stand. My surface's kickstand is hard enough, and with the case in the way it's even more difficult. It did become a little easier when I changed the position of my pen to be a little higher. The pen is very secure as well. Theres no way thing is slipping out of there. Either way I'm happy with the protection.

sturdy, functional
Great case at a great price. It seems to protect the device well, the strap to hold the keyboard cover in place is functional and out of the way during normal use. Have not used the hand strap on the back much but it does help sometimes. easy access to the ports. The charging cable is a little snug, a little extra press is needed to make sure its charging. I personally like this, it releases stress on the connector by having the case pinch it. the pen clip is also stiff, once again a benefit for me. when i throw it in my bag or at work i know the pen is help secure. when using the device i place the pen on the screen near the storage location and the magnets hold it well enough. the only thing im not super happy with is access to the kickstand, i have to turn the device around to flip it out, rather than a quick flip with my left hand when its in my lap, a minor inconvenience that is well worth the protection and added benefit.

Biggest piece of crap I have ever received, and I was in the military
I wouldn't even use this if I was paid $100 a week to use it. The material is so bad, I would lose out on my investment before I got enough to make up for it. This would NEVER survive a drop test (I'm a materials engineer with a background in aircraft engineering and maintenance, for reference). The material is EXTREMELY thin and SUPER flimsy, McDonald's happy meal box would be a better protector. It essentially feels like silicone, but is definitely less protective than it. In addition, for those looking for a handle, look at UAG and spend the money. The handle on this is just an inclusion for sales, akin to big companies including a meaningless object to try to get minorities to by their products as part of a minority celebration month. The handle is the same material as the case, doesn't open well, and is the worst angle to hold a device anyways. This case was supposed to help protect my device on deployments so I can safely use aircraft manuals, work related apps and files. Upon seeing the poor quality of this product, I tried to return it. However, Amazon says that no matter what reason I put in, poor quality, damaged, etc, it is ineligible for returns. This means the company also knows it's a sh!+ product. No engineering department should have ever approved this, and whoever did should never work in engineering again. This has been one of the biggest disappointments in my life, I am 10x more disappointed in this than I was when the Eragon movie first screened (I read the books first, trust me, don't watch it and don't buy this). Unless the company refunds and/or accepts my return, I'm going to contact my resources in the military and the contracting company I work for, as well as all the department heads of my University andput out a blanket recommendation to never purchase this product or any of this companies products, because their other products are also crap. The screen protectors are also poorly made and are not easy to apply with horrible instructions. TL:DR - Worst product in the history of products I have ever received from anyone and anything. Do not buy, the site that recommended this was WRONG!!!

Good case for Pro 6, keyboard, pen, and kickstand compatible
I just recieved this product and it looks good so far! It fits my Surface Pro 6 perfectly. It's a one piece case that snaps onto your device and seems pretty sturdy so far. I saw some complaints about the size of the rubber hand strap, but my smaller adult hands fit there comfortably. Larger hands may have trouble though. Other reviews saying that the built in pen holder is SUPER tight dont lie - you need to push it a bit to get it in and give it a pull to get it out, but I dont mind because I feel it's very secure. I like the kickstand and keyboard compatibility. The only slight design flaw I see in this is that since the frame of the case is wider than my device, I have to bend the case slightly to get my fingers under the kickstand to pull it out. You can see this in one of my photos. Overall, it looks like a great product so far and it makes me feel more comfortable carrying it around like a tablet. I will update this reviews if I notice any changes.
