Rollerblade Bladerunner 13 Phaser Kid's Skate

My son has been riding around using his mom's rollerblades. I know. Not very safe. So we bought these for Santa to put under the tree this year.He opened them up and was so excited to put them on. So we walked the dog with him wearing his new blades. He complained they were hurting his ankles (which is pretty common for the novice). He was so frustrated that he threw them in the dumpster. Yeah...can you believe it.I made him dig them out of the dumpster by himself. He isn't going to quit about 20 minutes of use.He takes him out the next day after finally letting me adjust them. What do you know? No so tight. I think he learned that sometimes dad knows what he is talking about.Now he has worn them on two paths of over 7 miles each. He loves them. I am happy they are adjustable.Great product and quality.

Good: Nice looking, good color combi, cheap, rolls well, good build.This is one of the cheaper inline skates around for kids, the build is good maybe except for the lining inside where some part is visible easily on some rough workmanship. The padding at the bottom do not seems to be thick enough where you can feel the plastic/metal part at the bottom.The plastic snap-on looks flimsy and I have a feeling it will break if not handled properly.For USD60, all these can be forgiven.Updates: After few mths of usage, the front part of the skate seems to be too lose. I need to tighten with a lot more effort in order to have a good fitting. Velcro tightening method might be better compared to lace.Updates 2: After 5 mths of weekend usage, the bottom part BROKE ! It was only used for usual skating and no stunts or jump done. Rather disappointing.Photo: [...]

Neither of my kids wants to skate in these. They have owned K2 Skates for the past 5 years, and love them, but when I had to size up again and bought these, my kids skated maybe a few times in them, and now they don't really want to skate anymore until I get a different brand. They say the boot is really uncomfortable. Maybe it is just that they are used to the K2 skate, since most other reviewers seem to like these....but for what it is worth, my kids did not.

Purchased these roller blades for my son's 9th birthday. He didn't want to take them off. They are easy enough for him to adjust and they fit well. I like the multiple fasteners on them so he can snug them down well for his narrow feet. He's been using them for about a month and a half, and they seem to be holding up well. In fact, he's asking to go out and roller blade right now!We also purchased Airwalk Youth Protective Pads to go with them -- a GREAT investment! I still need to find wrist guards for him.

These skates are great. My only complaint, the shoelace was frayed badly from the velcro strap (operator error) However, I can always replace the shoelace. My son can put these on himself. I got these for my 10 year old son. They actually look a lot cooler in person.

Perfect for my 8yr old daughter-they adjust as the foot grows! We just went on a paved path with several small hills-2.5 miles total. No complaints from my child at all! Braking is tricky on rollerblades, so please use ALL protective gear! Easy on-easy off & quality seems good for the cost. Great way to get outdoors!

It is easy to adjust to shoe size and wheels are great quality. 4 yr old Grandson is having a blast with them.

They seem to well made, and have held up well over the few months we have had them. I love that they adjust sizes, so we should get many years use from them. I have Rollerblades for myself and am very happy with their construction. These seem to be made just as sturdy.
