Sakkas Rayon Embroidered Stonewashed Adjustable Spaghetti Straps Long Dress

Well this dress fits just about perfectly! My one beef is the straps at the waist, they don't do too much to try and tighten, but it fit well enough as it was so I didn't need to adjust very much as it is. I am 5ft, 105lbs. It's just the right length even when I'm flat footed; it doesn't drag. I bought the red and to my please tell surprise, it wasn't fire truck red. It's a nice russet red. That was preferable for my needs! I'll definitely be getting another one of these! They're perfect if you're in Dagorhir like I am :) I reccomed this dress to anyone who is looking for one within this style and medieval time period!At my Dagorhir event, I got professional picture done. I don't have a good up and down but these at least show the color :)

Beautiful dress, I wore it for a Renaissance Faire and it was perfect. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is that I washed it with my regular laundry and it dyed some of my clothes yellow. So if you choose to buy it wash it by itself!

This dress was small …if you have a large chest I am a 36 DD and had to stretch out the elastic in the back to get it to be comfortable.. Otherwise it’s beautiful

This dress is very comfortable without sacrificing style. The smocking on the back of the bodice makes it very softly stretchy so the top follows and flatters without being at all binding. The smocking of the bodice ends just above the natural waist (unless you have a very short torso), which lets the skirt flow easily over the belly and hips. This hides anything you want hidden while still giving a VERY feminine silhouette.The fabric is delightfully swishy, thick but light. Rayon has a such a nice drape to it! The down side of rayon is that it can be very fragile when wet, so be gentle with your wash routine.I got the purple, and the color is very deep and rich.I am 5'6" and the hem falls between midcalf and ankle on me. The bottom 6 inches or so is 2 graduated layers of fabric in the same color but differing decorative weaves, these layers are a bit sheer but low enough that you needn't worry about anything scandalous showing.I typically wear a size 8, the regular "one size" fits me fine and I could see it fitting from a size 4 to a 16 or 18 easily.The bodice does not offer much in the way of bust support but will hide an average bra. The shoulder straps are about 1/2 inch wide and very adjustable. The "hardware" on the straps is cheap plastic, which is a shame since the rest of the dress is so nice!

I’m 5’8” 155lbs and wear a 34C. The chest was very tight even with the elastic back and especially along the top seam and straps. The dress fit to just above my ankles. I thought the dress was beautiful, but with my broad chest and shoulders I ended up returning the item, feeling self conscious. If you have a small chest this might work for you.

Beautiful dress, great quality and fits comfortably, but if you are short it looks very unflattering. I’m a size 6, 34B bra size, 5’3” tall, the dress was almost touching the floor and the skirt was so voluminous that made my hips look wider than usual, so, I looked stubby, short and wide. Not the look I wanted. I usually wear clean, long, lines that elongate my height, so I’m gonna stick with that look. If you are tall and thin, this dress will look great on you. The color is not as red but more like burgundy, very beautiful, and the fabric is thick and nice. Sadly, I’m returning it.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars it was cut a little smaller, I usually order a large this one is cut a little low as well. I really like the material it's so detailed. I'm so glad I found Sakkas I have now bought several tops as well. I have not washed the dress yet so I'm hoping it comes out ok. I have even gotten my sister interested in Sakkas line. I will definitely be buying more. I also think the prices are good compared to some other lines.I Wish I had found these about 20 years ago

I'm in love with this dress and will probably live in it all summer. I have yet to wash it and am concerned about seams separating as I've read in some of the reviews, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. For now, I am inspired to purchase the red one... Thankfully, the fit is as I expected. The ability to adjust both the waist and the length of the straps are most helpful as I am of incredibly small stature (4'10", 96lbs, 32C). I wore this dress with wedges on Easter--without heels, a couple of the corners (handkerchief hem) graze the top of my feet/the floor. Doesn't bother me as long as I'm not doing an excessive amount of walking. There is a valid argument about this dress making short people look shorter, but I don't mind that either. Frankly, it's just nice to have a long, carefree, and breathable dress to wear during the burning months of summer. I believe this could even be worn year around if styled correctly (leggings underneath, warm cardigan/sweater).

Lovely dress in a stunning colour! The elasticated back made it a bit tight for me (I am a UK 16), so I removed the shirring elastic and it fits much better. There is a tie belt anyway. Despite this it is a lovely, well-made dress, even my OH approves of. Time will tell if the colour fades with washing - I hope not.

This is a very pretty dress. The only complaint is that the bra strap adjuster breaks very easily. So be careful and it's all good.Otherwise very nice dress.

Absolutely perfect! Sakkas is fast becoming my favourite brand for maxi dresses.My only complaint? I'm 5ft7 and the dresses could do with being maybe just an inch or two longer..Please make this style in different colours so I can buy more! :-)I have amended this as I originally posted 5 stars for the black one. I bought the blue but unfortunately, the colour faded pretty fast and it became shabby really quickly, which was very disappointing. I washed it at 30 degrees too on a hand wash cycle so I can only put this down to the quality of the fabric.

It says a one size which would be fine for a smaller breasted woman, it is quite tight across the chest. I'm hoping it will stretch out a bit in time aside from that it's a nice dress. Quick delivery.
