2-Pound Bread Maker, Stainless Steel, BK1200SS

Made my first loaf of bread today using the included gluten free recipe for buttermilk bread. Instead of buying the separate flours I used King Arthur Gluten Free Flour and that also covered the xanthum gum ingredient in the recipe. It turned out perfect and was absolutely delicious. I even used a couple of slices to make a grilled cheese sandwich using pepperjack cheese. Absolutely fantastic. Even though the Breadman name is no longer in business, I’m glad to be an owner of one of their final products while still available. I’ve always wanted one and kept putting it off. Needing a healthy gluten free diet finally inspired to buy this.Update: Bought a second one to save time and make two loaves at a time. The second works just as well as the first. I also began making regular gluten bread for the rest of the family and the included recipes for that work wonderfully and wish I could eat those. Nobody wants the store bought bread anymore. Additionally, I purchased the original Breadman recipe book in hardcover that provided everyone else recipes tailored to this machine like delicious cinnamon raisin bread and will also use it to make everyone homemade cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately the book does not provide any gluten free recipes. No regrets on this purchase.

This machine works very well and I have already made many custom loaves of very tasty bread. Bread man is a very well known brand with a good reputation. After I bought it I did see it from another seller for a lot less money, wish I would have waited and could have saved quite a bit $$$!I’ve used different types of flour sometimes adding my own ingredients, honey, raisins or nuts and it’s so easy and fun! When there is no bread in the house I save a trip to the store and make it myself, easy to clean and also makes my house smell like a bakery.Price was higher than other sellers, shipping was fast and packaging was perfect. The unit arrived excellent condition.Thanks. AMR.

Love using this bread machine for making bread. Very user friendly and creates the perfect dough for any sort of bread.

I had this brand of bread maker before and was so happy I could find the same brand, its awesome, so easy to make homemade healthy bread without all the preservatives.

Avoid this unit. Not the quality I expect from Breadman. Dough setting results in lumpy bread. Don't waste your money or time.

Actually, we use this for kneading and first rise. We're older women who can't do the job manually any more. We also like to make shaped loaves, so we oven bake the dough. The Breadman is wonderfully easy to use, and the dough is always very smooth, with no lumps of ingredients or add-ins. There's a nice recipe book, but we find it works quite well with our own recipes. East to program machine with a good variety of options.

i GOT THIS 31 YEARS AGO AND IT DIED 3 MONTHS AGO. WE HAD A RESTAURANT AND I MADE CINNAMON ROLLS Ei VERY WEEK FOR THE SATURDAY CROWD. i JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FOR MY GRANDSON AS HE HAS A DEEP LOVE FOR BAKING. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANY OTHER BRAND. i AM NOT REPLACING MY MACHINE AS I AM NOW 80 YEARS SO NOT BAKING EXCEPY AT CHRISTMAS

I’m an experienced bread machine user. I’ve tried other brands with higher ratings but they didn’t work as well as the Breadman brand. Also, the instruction booklet is extremely helpful in making sure the loaf turns out the way it should.
