I grew up with going into the woods and getting the sweet smell of Sassafras. I chose the root thinking it would be better. This smells nothing like sassafras and there is no way I can use it!! It smells like strong fragrance not the sweet smelling of the true Sassafras I grew up with. And I can`t return and get a refund!!!

It didn't smell fresh ,the smell was very faint Real Sassafras has a very nice notable distant smell.

This adds a nice root beer flavor to my tea

This tasted and smelled nothing like the sassafras I have used in the past.

This was a great product. Smells very robust and taste great. The only thing is that you get only 1/2 cup of sassafras.
