Just as good as the books i used in the Army, at a fraction of the cost. I like that the "clip" on the pen has a pivoting design which will help reduce the risk of it breaking. The pen is also a stylist pen and doesn't have a "cheap" feel. The supplied carry pouch is very nice with space for all 3 note pads and extra. The notepads themselves have a nice plastic cover (front and back) and the paper is legit.As soon as I unpacked everything I went to my kitchen sink, ran water over a page, wrote on it immediately and drug my finger over the ink in a attempt to smear it. It did not!

Nice EDC. will hold more than just the tablet and pen. A small folding knife and flashlight will also fit with a little room to spare. Would make a great gift for any outdoorsman.

I bought these for my outside activities - geocaching and hiking. However, the fabric cover is actually more than expected - it can hold my cell phone as well.

I use this set as part of my stream temperature measuring kit along with a stream thermometer and nylon cord, it's light weight and right sized to pop in my carry bag. Take it from me, it is in fact weatherproof!

I love this type of paper. I have to use it in all types of weather. If it is raining, misting or snowing, I can still write on the paper.
