Pelican Cargo Cases

Just received this item.The perfect size for what I need.Seems well made. It was a little expensive, but I will be using it for many years to come. Well worth it.

This product is very well made typical of all Pelican products. Used it to ship some very delicate items on a trip I recently made. Only downside is that it a bit on the heavy side but can take lots of beatings if used for shipment tool or equipment storage. I'm very pleased with the cargo case.

These box’s are pretty cool the latches are really strong. Only downside I have with them from being a 5 star is the price and quality. I’ve seen box’s half the price and stronger quality these ones kinda flex when you push in them. I thought they were going to be a lot stiffer. Other than that they are great box’s and look really good on top of a vehicle.

It's not drastic, but it's noticeable enough to detract from the overall impression of quality. I bought the first one and was sooo happy because it looked amazing and I mounted it as an extra storage box on the roof rack of my sprinter van. Soon realized it was taking water. So I contacted pelican for a refund or an exchange. The process was long and boring but they came through and sent me a new one. I installed it and after the second rain it received I checked and everything inside was wet again. The plastic is thin and flexible. The box is not the quality you would expect from Pelican. The rivets that connect the parts also seem like they are not waterproof. As an industrial designer I believe this product needs much revision before it can be sold for this price. Try it out but you’ve been warned.
