Quintic 28 Backpack by Arcteryx

I've had the bag for about a month now, and taken it out on 4-5 ski tours to date. I really love the pack, and would expect no less from Arc'teryx. The most important thing I would mention is that this is definitely a day pack. Trying to do some sort of overnight trip would be beyond the space constraints.Pros: Separate compartments for everything - large dedicated pocket for shovel/probe. Map pocket. Thermos Pocket. Food pocket, etc. Great fit, and great straps. It almost feels like you aren't wearing a pack when skinning or making turns. Easy A-frame ski carry. Very waterproof outer - it kept everything dry for an extended slog in very wet snow/sleet.Cons: None that I can think of, though check the sizing carefully. I have a pretty long torso and ordered a tall - it was waaay to long for me. Regular size fits me fine. The hip belt could also be worked on (no padding, just a thin strap), but I don't see that as being an issue as the pack isn't large enough to load it that heavy.Also, I would note that the pictures make this pack look really wide, and I was a little concerned I would hit it when I swing my arms. That hasn't been an issue at all, even when fully loaded. I think the angle that the picture is taken from is somewhat deceiving.

This pack is worth the money, it is great, great storage, light, clean look, fits well, great color and size
