How to set the frequency to water every day? I only managed to set it to water every 2-6 days, please help!

This water timer has 2 watering frequency. 1. every 2-6 days 2. every day(Monday to Sunday) How to set every day watering? 1)Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN. 2)Press "+" or "-" button to select the day of the week, press "OK" button to select all days from Monday to Sunday. 3)When the cursor circles all days of the week(Sunday to Saturday) that means every day has been selected. 4)Finally, turn the dial directly to save, do not press "OK" button. Otherwise the cursor will flashing on next day or enter Every 2/3/4/5/6 days mode. 5)Turn the dial to VIEW SET to check if all the days of the week you have selected. Can this timer be set up to water: 1. everyday of th week, with water on at 7am off at 7:20, on at noon off at 12:20 and on at 5pm and off at 5:20. re

From my experience using it, no. It only allowed me to set one watering time in the AM and only one watering time in the PM. I didn't see an option for watering three times in one day.

Is an anti-symphony valve necessary for this type of irrigation controller?

I think it’s based on what you have connected to the timer. If connected to a standard sprinkler head I say not. However if you have some type of fertilizer or chemical injector connected between timer and sprinkler head then most definitely install one. Hope this is helpful. BD

Can it be used as a drip sytem?

I don’t see why not as long as the drip system can take the water pressure. I love the unit in the way it’s so easy to program. I used it for a two zone sprinkler system timer. And it works great I love the option to just turn the knob to off if you want to stop watering because of the amount of precipitation the area is getting. When you turn it back on all your settings are still there. Good luck
