Solid Heavy Duty Upgrade
I’m really impressed with this security strike plate. It’s much thicker and sturdier than the one I had before, and the difference in quality is immediately noticeable. My old plate wasn’t holding up, especially with the wood behind it being rough and worn, but this one fit perfectly and gave the whole doorframe a much more secure feel.Installation took a bit of work due to the condition of the wood, but once it was in, I felt a lot more confident in the door’s ability to withstand force. If you’re looking to reinforce an entry point and want peace of mind, this is a fantastic upgrade. Highly recommend!

Good strength, wife hates it because it sticks out
I got this to add some security for the front door. The wife complained because she says it sticks out of the door, but I am more interested in it being tough and it looks the part. It does not look bad, to be honest. If she reads this, I am on the couch.

Sturdy, fits well
Sometimes you need to remove the old striker plates. I like to put this over them for extra strength. I was able to do that with one door but not the other,needless to say uh they work great

The plates are great, the screws are not very good.
The door plates are quite nice, but the screws, even though they are stainless steel, are not very good quality. I bought three of these plates for my exterior doors and even though I pre-drilled all of the holes, half of the screws striped out. This required me to go to my local hardware store to buy more to finish the job since I wanted to maintain the stainless look. It was because of this, that I knocked one star off the review.

They work great but the I paid for two but only received one so i had to pay again for one more so the seller got paid twice and could not contact the seller for a refund. But I am satisfied with the product.
