Probably the worst book I've ever bought. Totally unstructured ramble of unconnected text. Seems to focus mostly on collars - no idea why this is described as shirtmaking workbook. All the instructions and patterns are online - but the weblinks quoted look like they have since moved, and when you do hunt down the correct link, the patterns do not open. Do not bother.

Wish I'd looked at it sooner and sent it back as its really not a book about shirt making at all. It's really a book about links on the internet that will help you make a shirt! Some of these pages you have to pay for....I feel rather cheated............

I initially had problems locating the online content - without this the book is useless - I think the location might have changed because I was redirected - but it is there - and I have to say looks excellent. It is very well presented - a visual representation of the printed book, with active links to the various patterns and other resources. It is a huge bonus and enhancement to the book. - informative and beautifully presented. The patterns are for collars, cuffs and plackets, which can be used to really individualise a garment. You have to follow the link in the text on Page 10 of the book - under the heading 'Digital and Online Content' not the link to David's blog (which is on page 11).

Nothing special here. Don't bother if you are looking for a more informative and instructional book.

Good for those who want to change the pattern a bit.......

Disappointing after the excitement of his first book. Padded out with boring stuff and after a brief fast look consigned to the bookcase.A waste of money IMHO.
