Packed full of action and thrills
I thought this book was absolutely thrilling and had many twists and turns that kept my eyes glued to the book throughout. As some of the other reviews mention this volume does not completely wrap up the story that started in volume 9 as the author promised at the end of that novel. It does close some parts of the plot but also opens some new interesting elements by the end of it.There are a decent amount of new characters but most of them serve some relative use to drive the story forward (Ganesha's kids introductions felt pointless but it made sense given the circumstances). This book switches perspective a lot (more than normal I would say) and takes you to many different places quickly but there's a lot going on so it's justified. My only real complaint is that Bell didn't really play much of a major role in the first half of the novel but he makes up for it in the second half.I've enjoyed this arc simply because this is the most impact Bell has had on the overarching development of the world he lives in rather than just his own personal development. He does a lot of personal development in this book as well and even redefines what being a hero means to him. If you've enjoyed the series so far I don't think this book will disappoint since it is one of the most thrilling and action-packed ones yet!

Much darker than previous books
With this book, the story has become a much darker tale. The idea that n"No good deed goes unpunished", Bells reputation is severely tarnished. The Loki familiar may no longer trust him, all for doing what was right.

Great book!
Loved and hated the way it ended. I wish it didn't end. Could've at least had Hestia do a status update because I'm pretty sure fighting Dix helped raise his status alot. The Epilogue was great and didn't leave me hanging too bad, I can't wait till the next book comes out! The author may be having trouble with it, but by reading the book, you wouldn't really know it. Keep up the good work!

no real particulars) This was by far my favorite book in the series
SLIGHT SPOILER (regarding basic theme of book; no real particulars)This was by far my favorite book in the series. I have read all of the light novels and was thrilled to see the author delve into the realm of what it means to really be a hero, by first going into the traditional stereotype of a hero (in the first few books) and in the past two books is now addressing his vision of what a hero is by doing the noble action despite what people think of it. I was impressed with his ability to encapsulate this idea and look forward to the next installment.

I laughed, I cried
Seriously, tho. Totally teared up. I didn't even think I was emotionally attached. Good job, Mr. Writer. I will be a lifelong fan.

Its heckin good
It was really good, the story is taking place in the same arc as book 9 almost directly after it. Im very excited to start 11 and continue it! Best arc in all of dan machi thus far in my opinion!

Danmachi gets dark
I'll be honest. This was a really dark story, but it was a page turner. You wonder what will happen next. The Xenos were attacked, and Weine and Fei (harpy) were captured. The Xenos retaliate that eventually leads to their discovery by the other adventurers. Chaos ensues afterward.Spoilers (and personal thoughts):-This entire book is a setup for the next book (getting the Xenos back in the dungeon)-Bell being a scapegoat is necessary, since the hero's path is not always easy.-Welf leveled up and made new equipment (which do play a role later), but makes no mention of it. I thought it was hilarious that he gives horrible names to his equipment (Pyonkichi = Rabbit armor).
