Rok straps
These are the best things I use for tying gear or anything to motorcycle on trips , I have 3 sets of these . Get some of these and make straping your luggage headaches a thing of the past

Great straps
These are great straps. I use them on my backpacks and on my bicycle racks. They work great and stand up to abuse. After a couple of years, they tend to get brittle if exposed to the weather, but I think at this price they are worth it and I just replace them every few years.

Great for bicycle racks - thinner than expected
These are really well suited for rear bicycle racks - easily slipped on and adjusted. Very secure and the bungee portion stretches to keep your bags or items tight on the rack. Note that these are narrow straps (about 1/4” wide) - it is hard to tell from the photos.

Don't actually need them, but they make your life easier.
I feel stupid spending this much money on what is a glorified bungee cord, but honestly, it is a great, great solution for lashing stuff on my motorcycle cases. It's really a lot better solution than using a bungee and way easier than tying trucker hitches with paracord. So I look at it like this, basically a luxury item for packing gear. I don't need them, but they make my life easier when on the road.

I have tried all kinds of straps and cargo nets on my motorcycle and for one reason or another was disappointed by each one. These straps have performed great and I wholeheartedly recommend them. The extra loop on the 'free' end of the strap can be used to keep it from loosely flapping when the straps aren't used or when carrying something small and having the strap tightened so that free end is somewhat long. The loop is an ingenious feature that doesn't get much mention in the advertisement or the instructions.
