The installation went smoothly and it is nice that it is a full kit. It is much better than anything I saw at the big box chain stores. Picking up everything in 1 box is a major plus. The chain stores sell the outside, inside, key lock, and latch all as separate items with each being close to the price of the whole kit presented here. Just buy the kit and even if you don't need all the parts, you have spares for next time.

I installed this patio lock to my door due to me being tired of always having to leave out my front door. The install wasn’t as smooth as I thought it would be but under further reviewing of the directions and constantly starting over I began to get the hang of it. So for starters the key kept jamming inside the lock, then once loosening the screws it began to go right in. Then I locked the patio door and it did lock but someone from the outside was able to just open my patio WHILE IT WAS LOCKED without any hesitation. So to me that’s the most dangerous thing ever. So upset that this happened

Nothing amazing about it, it’s just a cheap replacement handle. Lock works good but it’s a tad bit flimsy. Had to trim the exterior lock rod that goes through the door lock hook so make sure you have a pair of diagonal cutters handy.It came with 2 sets of bolts for mounting the handles. (Long and short)The shorts were too short and the longs were too long but using one short and one long worked alright. It’s secure at least.Thread on handle for bolts is not that strong so DO NOT over tighten them. Just make them snug. Bolt is a Philips head.Cheap solution, does the job. Would buy again.

This was the oNLY handle we found for a door 2" thick, so it gets our vote just for that. At first it didn't work with the key, BUT, if you read the instructions, which are very thorough (thank you), it troubleshot that and it worked! Great handle once we got it on right.

i like the lock but this is a rush order and the came 9 hours late i dont buy for this company again this is notgood

Ordered this to have a keyed, lockable sliding door lock. The screws that came with it weren't the right size for my door even though it fit within the advertised dimensions. The 40mm and 50mm screws were both too short to reach the screw holes and the 60mm screws were too long, bottoming out in the screw holes while leaving the handle loose and rattling on the sliding door. I had to order M5 55mm screws online as my local hardware store didn't have them. Finally I was able to use the handle and the lock functioned well enough using the inside lever, but it will not lock from the outside using the keys. I am able to unlock the door from the outside using the keys, but am unable to lock it again from the outside. Ultimately I will keep it because it was a considerable headache to install, but not happy that it didn't include the screws I needed and won't function properly with the key.

Had to replace the handle on my Sliding glass door because I wanted a keyed lock. I want to be able to unlock the slider if I can't get into my front door which has a smart lock on it. This worked well.

We had searched to replace our sliding glass door handle/lock because we didn’t have keys for the lock. Took a chance on this one and it fit perfect. Great price also
