The product quality has improved, and the battery life has been extended to about 6 months.You could replace 3 AA batteries for it.

Please be within the Bluetooth range, tap the device on the Govee Home app--->tap the settings icon on the top right of the graph page--->set the alert range.

Q: Is the thermometer bound to a single phone/app? Or can it be shared with family?

It can be shared with family. Please connect the wifi temperature sensor to 1 Govee account, then log in with the same Govee account on multiple phones.

Q: Can this wifi thermometer be used outdoors?Can this wifi thermometer be used in the freezer?

Don’t use the thermometer outdoors, in a freezer, or in an environment with a low temperature or high humidity (over 80% when water is in a condensation state).

Q: Does it work with 5G Wi-Fi, and will there be issues with losing connections?

No, it only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks. The product quality has improved, with an extended battery life and resolved connection interruptions.
