This is a great choice for a healthy popcorn, if you stick to 3 servings per bag. The taste is AWESOME. The thing I LOVE is that it appears to have less 'hull' or whatever the yellow is called, therefore not much stuck in my teeth!

We always eat this brand but usually buy it premade. Thought I would save a little money and cook this myself. It tastes very fresh and delicious. Will definitely purchase again.

Good flavor, but many unpopped kernels
As someone who eats popcorn as a fairly rare treat, I hadn't tried Boomchickapop. The first microwaved batch stopped popping well before the recommended microwave time. There were several burned popped pieces and still had many unpopped kernels. The next time I popped a bag, I cut the microwave time by 20 seconds, and this worked much better for not burning any, but the unpopped amount went up significantly.The sea salt flavor isn't overwhelming, and the kernels which popped correctly were fresh, had a consistent and agreeable texture and flavor, and they made close to the amount advertised on the package.Overall, this is an acceptable microwave popcorn version, but watch the popping time.
