We purchased a used Ecobee thermostat and didn't get the wall plate with our purchase. I checked out the reviews on Amazon, and this one fit the bill. Please note that it doesn't state which way is UP, but the Ecobee only fits in one direction.

It fit perfectly. My thermostat was a ecobee pro with voice control, but had the same foot pattern as the ecobee 4. It fit perfect. Well constructed, good and sturdy. The only thing that I would change is make it a little thinner. Delivery time could be a little faster since you have to pay for delivery.

Returned item only because the thermostat had one included in the box

Bought two of these covers. Very big and bulky on the wall. The original comes with a thermostat is more than enough. Also, if your previous thermostat was installed on top of an electrical in-wall 2x4 box, be ready to find the solution for the lower screw - this plate doesn't fit.

Larger size than the included plate which was perfect in my case to hide flaws that were on the wall from the older thermostat. Matches well.
