This 1Mii Bluetooth 5.3 audio receiver is an absolute game-changer for £30. It transformed my beloved old separates music system, which sounded great but lacked Bluetooth – into a modern Spotify streaming powerhouse without needing a full overhaul. ​ Setup was a breeze: plug it into the aux input, pair with my phone, and boom – wireless high-def audio straight from Spotify or any app. The aptX HD support delivers crisp, detailed sound that punches way above its price, preserving the power and sound of my beloved speakers. If your hi-fi is Bluetooth-free but otherwise solid, this tiny adapter is perfect. No fuss, reliable connection, and excellent range around the house. Highly recommend – wish I'd found it sooner!

I thought I would leave a review due to being very happy with the 1Mii B06+ Bluetooth receiver and also because it doesn't look like many people have commented on the 1Mii B06 "Plus" version. The updated plus version has a dedicated on/off button and unlike what some reviewers have said, I have no issue unlinking the Bluetooth from phone and receiver. It comes with a dc barrel to usbA power cable but no plug adapter, so I bought a Multibao 10W 5V 2A Power Adapter, AC 100-240V to DC Power Supply with 4.4ft/1.2m Lead from amazon and it works perfectly. The sound quality is good but all depends obviously on the quality of the music source. In regards to bluetooth connection it has not cut off so far. For the money you can't go wrong! I would recommend.

First, the good news: this works well. It's easy to set up and has great range. The quality of music played through it is excellent. I have 2 gripes - nothing that would stop me buying it, but it may help prospective buyers. Firstly, while it's powered-up it will not let you disconnect the bluetooth. You go into settings (on iPhone) > Bluetooth > disconnect, but it reconnects immediately. The only way to disconnect is to choose 'Forget this device', which means you have to re-pair it next time you want to use it, or power-down the bluetooth receiver. The reason you want to disconnect it is that when you've finished playing music through the 1mii you may want to listen to something on your phone in another room, e.g. a YouTube video. Well, it'll play through your 1mii bluetooth receiver and if you're not in the same room as your HiFi, or the HiFi is turned off, that's no good. In the end I fixed it by powering the USB power unit I'm using to power the 1mii receiver through an Alexa controlled plug so I can turn it off remotely by saying "Alexa, turn off bluetooth receiver". The other smaller gripe is that the output seems low - for example, for comfortable listening volume through my HiFi for the CD player or tuner I need the amplifier volume on about 4/10 whereas for a comfortable listening volume for what's coming through the 1mii I need the amplifier volume on about 7/10. Not a problem for normal listening but it makes me feel I won't be able to use for a party where I'll want louder music. As I say, these are not show-stoppers and I'm still a happy user, so I'd recommend this product.

This was purchased to enable me to connect my phone to an old HiFi unit. The unit paired by Bluetooth easily, a quick push of the main button and done. I used the phono connection and an old phone charger to supply the 5V. Streams great without any lag or drop outs and reaches most of the house, maybe 8 metres through a single wall maximum. This is good for Bluetooth. The 3.5mm connection also works fine. Both outputs provide a good volume level that can be controlled from the phone, with the maximum volume set at the speaker/HiFi.

Great receiver and very easy to setup , hooks into system no problem

20/08/24 update. I've had direct contact from the company and they have been brilliant in seeking feedback and they have offered a full refund upon return of this item. I am going to keep it as it serves a purpose albeit my disappointment with the sound quality. If I find a solution like for instance a pre amp solution I'll add a further update. They've informed me that they have passed my feed back to their R and D dept. Very refreshing to see that they value their customers and so when they do make an update to this product I'm very likely to try it. My opinions of the sound quality haven't changed but I'm happy with the response I've had which I never expected to be honest. Credit where it's due guys. I've had this unit which I use with a Bose Wave speaker for a couple of months now. I have a high Res player built into my phone that I stream from. I expected this device to be considerably better than it is. The sound quality is a bit flat. It's mediocre at best. The output is low and it seems like it could do with a pre amp to boost the signal. I have to turn up the volume on the Bose to around 70% to get any decent out put. Connection by Bluetooth is quick and easy and it has allowed me to be able to bring some extra usability to the Bose Wave. But I am somewhat disappointed with the performance overall. It's not very dynamic. When I use any of my high Res audio earbuds or headphones with my phone the sound quality is brilliant. The separation is great, the clarity, base everything is great. So its not my phone. Other inputs to the Bose sound great by the 3.5mm input which I'm using from this device to the Bose Wave. It's just this device that's poor. As I said, I believe it's down to the input signal being low. So I thought about sending this device back to Amazon to be fair. I've kept it only for the convenience of using the Bose like a Bluetooth speaker but I am on the lookout for something better. I'm afraid I can't recommend this product.
