Bought this toaster last year. Looks really smart and good quality finish. Nice wide slots. Work very well but be warned the heat settings quite fierce. Maybe my old one was just too weak. All good over a year later. Just wish it had a bagel setting.

Large loaf slices don't fit well into many toasters so wanted 2 slice slots to fit 1 slice of bread from a typical supermarket loaf. This is slightly smaller than the 4 slice/2 slot toaster its replacing, but still just about OK for standard slices. After just a couple of uses it seems fine but not amazing. The heating element doesn't look very even when it starts heating. But does seem to toast evenly so far. The build quality isn't great, it feels flimsy and I'd expect better at this price point - even at the reduced price. If I'd seen it in a store I'd probably have opted to pay more for something that felt better made. Early days so need to see how well it does and how well it lasts Revised 19-09-25 after more use: The toasting from this toaster isn't even, in particular if toasting multiple times so the toaster is already warm. My initial view after a couple of uses has been proved wrong. Photos are two sides of the same slice of bread. One side OK, little under toasted on the lines and a bit over at the top, other side burnt. How can a toaster get basics so wrong? If I'd bought this from a local shop I'd be returning. Looks pretty, feels flimsy, toasts badly.

It's great as it can toast long slices of bread. I can't give it 5 stars as it does not toast evenly. You have to turn the toast round if you want it evenly brown all over.

This is an excellent toaster. It’s a great value for the money. It looks great on my counter. And most importantly, it toasts bread to perfection. The openings are long and very wide to accommodate all different types of bread. Very simple to use as well. I would highly recommend this product. UPDATE... Started to burn all the edges on any size or thickness of bread , make smoke alarm go off , so can't use it any more will have to bin it...

Good grief, what a disappointment. We really thought this would be the answer to the issues that we've been having with toasters, but it couldn't be further from the truth. First of all, although the long slots seem like a good idea, they are still too short to have two slices of normal size bread toasting at the same time. Yes, you can toast two longer pieces at the same time, but your dream of toasting four slices of bread at the same time will not work. More importantly, the actual toasting capability of this device is very poor. It is inconsistent, so even if you leave it on the same setting, sometimes the toast will be slightly burnt and sometimes it will be overdone. Completely inaccurate. The two sides of a toast are always toasted at different degrees. Genuinely, a very poor and overpriced toaster. For the love of god, can someone please just sell a functional device that can toast 4 slices of normal sized bread at once?

After our older toaster failed it took a while to find a similar wide slot replacement for loaves you cut yourself. This one is a good size for length & various thicknesses of bread & was a more reasonable price than Argos. It takes a while to get the timing right but overall its a good toaster & also looks smart. The only thing missing is a lift option to check progress of browning - you have to pop it up then re-start if not as desired. A minor flaw that can be worked around.

Nice enough looking toaster. Tried various types of bread and the biggest annoyance is it toasts unevenly. One side gets toasted more than the other so you have to keep turning the slices over. Good chance the toast then burns. Returned and got refund

Fabulous toaster for accommodating different sizes of bread/sourdoughs - love that the entire slice gets toasted evenly temperature very controlled- very happy with purchase

I was on a trip and only managed to use this new toaster recently: it burns everything, no matter the setting. You need to monitor the process and stop it manually, or else the entire room will be filled with smoke. A nightmare! Also, I just missed the 30- day return window, so disappointed! I would never recommend this toaster, unfortunately.

The toaster burns the edges of toast regardless of setting. It does a terrible job.
