I am hearing impaired and when I saw this play on Broadway, the hearing device they gave me did not work. A Lot To Think About
I saw this play recently and wanted to go back and read it . Because the characters talk over each other and stammer a lot, I wanted to understand what I’d missed. I really like the surprises, the ideas, and the moral dilemmas the characters are grappling with. A bit of English history/mythology creates a supernatural backdrop for a very relevant conversation about current events.

One of the best plays of 2017
One of the best plays I read this year. Truly breathtaking writing and 3 amazing roles for 3 actors of retirement age. The play is going to Broadway in the 2017-2018 season and I predict it will be a strong contender for the Tony.

Good Read
This is a good play... very thought provoking! I taught a class on it, and then we went and saw a production in South Florida.

NOT THE COMPLETE VERSION AS PERFORMED.
Why 4 stars? A simple but significant reason: Both the Kindle and the paperback versions of this play include a statement in the forward that because this version was created during rehearsals when changes were still being made, it may differ slightly from the play as performed. If that is the case, this play should NOT have been published. To pay money for something inaccurate or incomplete, under the circumstances, is simply wrong.

Very topical play
Script arrived in very good condition. The play itself was exactly what we needed - a small cast, relevant for today.
