each socket had a switch and the switch was luminous, a good feature was the supply wire provided was a bigger capacity than I expected

I needed a new extension for my desktop PC, and this fits the bill perfectly. Everything plugged in with its own socket, surge protected, and has hooks in the back so I can hang it on the wall. Love it.

One of the best extension leads i have ever purchased

The extension lead arrives in a branded cardboard box with a plastic pouch placed over the extension cord. The ABS body on the body of the socket is good, it's well-made and will stand up to plenty of abuse without issue. The two halves of the shell are screwed together using a triangular security screw to prevent curious individuals from messing with it. The back of the extension cord has several holes for mounting the extension cord to some screw heads on a wall or the underside of a desk etc.The cable quality is superb, it's 3 core 1.25 mm thick wires that are thickly insulated while still flexing really easily so you’ll have no issues weaving it in and around tight spaces and corners. Each end of the cable is protected with a stiff flexible strain relief, meaning the weakest points of the cable are protected from fatigue. The cable comes with a hook and loop cable tidy pre-applied to the cable so you can tie away the spare cable if you aren’t going to be running it at the full rated wattage.The sockets work well, they grip onto the plugs well without any issues and plugging and unplugging takes a decent amount of force. Beside each socket is a small orange illuminated on/off switch that can be used to turn the power to the plugged in device on or off so you don't have to trudge over to the wall socket or unplug the entire extension cord.The product images claim that this has a bunch of safety measures for a range of electrical problems but when I took a looked inside there is nothing apart from wires and the LEDs soldered to the copper contacts.If you’re fine with the misleading claims of the overload, overheat, surge and lightning protection in the product imagery it’ll do the job. It's a little expensive considering the lack of protective circuitry in my opinion, but the quality otherwise is top-notch.
