Easy to assemble. Picked up decaying and whole apples out of long grass with no problem. Very fast and efficient. Leaves not picked up at all. I did bend the two retaining ring guides up a bit to stop the wires skipping out of position and this worked very well. This tool is probably one of my best buys ever.The bucket mounted emptier is a bit fiddly and I ended up just opening the basket by hand. This is messier though.

I bought this some months back and have just used it for the first time - have to say I'm not impressed.It's quite expensive for what it is and not particularly helpful. Many of the smaller apples that you manage to trap drop straight out again. It's easy to put together but not fit for purpose.A rather expensive waste of time to be honest.

The handle comes apart very easily and I have had to put tape round each section. It is a bit difficult to get large apples out again. I am worried that the whole thing won't last that long. Easier than bending down but expensive for what it does.

This has transformed the whole process of picking up apples. It is efficient and effective. It is pricey for what it is but I suppose it is a case of market forces or lack of, i.e. no, alternative. My one gripe is the handle which comes in sections for packaging convenience and screws onto the wizard. You must really ram the sections together hard and screw on the wizard really tight otherwise it falls apart when full of apples. It would be nice if it could be adapted so the it could be clipped onto a multifunction handle system such as Wolf or Gardena.

Ordered for someone else who thought it was a waste of money, and did not look the same as the picture.

Delivery very fast. Product is superb, picks up small and large apples quickly. Good idea including the metal opener tool to empty the apples out, but honestly I find using my hands to open the mesh is quicker and easier. This has saved me loads of time and back ache. Love it. You need to own one of these if you have a load of fallen fruit to pick up all the time! Handle unscrews a bit easy but no big deal. My new favourite garden tool!

This is a truly genius product which has saved us back-breaking hours clearing up apples this year. Even my sceptical husband was impressed and uses it.A couple of slight issues make it not totally perfect, but it is still excellent. Issues are: The handle is put together by wedging 3 component parts into each other and occasionally it wiggles free and the handle falls apart and needs to be re-wedged together. It would be better if the handle were just one component part. And the method for releasing the apples from the cage doesn't work brilliantly with the provided tool - we just use our hands and open the cage and shake the apples out that way.Amazing product, though.

This is a very neat idea. I have only just received it, and used it only once so far, but it really worked well, and certainly saved all that back-ache. My only quibble was that there were no instructions. It is pretty simple once you have worked it out, but the way of using the 'emptying device' floored me for a few minutes, Even a small picture would have helped.
