Well made machine. Makes perfect grill sandwiches
I really like it & happy I bought it. The size is perfect for two small sandwiches. If you make a bigger size sandwich, it only takes 3 minutes for each one, not a long wait. Green light is on when you first plug in to preheat, then it goes off when it's already to use. Green light is on when you put in your sandwich, once sandwich is done, the green light is off. Make perfect crunchy tuna melt, cheese sandwich. Lunch, dinner or snack are so easy to make & enjoyable.

Helping 10 Year Old Be Independent
When I was younger my dad bought me something similar to this to learn how to make grilled cheese myself, slightly safer than our gas stove. My daughter recently learned she LOVES a good grilled cheese and so nostalgia at its finest. Bought this, it’s held up well. Heats up quickly, easy to use, nothing sticks. Super easy to clean. No issues.

Good for sandwiches primarily
I got this as a replacement for another sandwich maker that had the triangle lines. That one was hard to clean because of the grooves. So in addition to wanting no grooves, I was hoping for a flat surface for other uses - heating pizza, sautéing mushrooms etc. I didn't do enough HW because this thing doesn't get very hot. The bottom gets hotter than the top and it does brown the bread, but nothing else works well. It doesn't get hot enough and the cycle on and off takes a while so it cools down before heating up again. Not great for sauté and pizza crust doesn't crisp. Pretty disappointed considering how long I looked around before buying this one. Nevertheless, still happy with the bread toasting and easy clean up.
