Easy to use; they work well I spliced four wires underground and it has been six months in wet conditions with no issues. These are sturdy. They have seals. I think these will do for the long haul (several years) underground and keeping the splices water-free). My application was with 10 gauge wire. It fit. Highly recommended.

I really like these junction boxes. They worked perfectly for my landscape lighting project. I used my own connectors inside instead of the supplied wiring block to connect the power source to two low voltage fixtures. The wires were 14-20ga. The box is the perfect size, small with enough room for 6 wires and 2 3 way connectors. The box seemed to seal well all around and will probably be waterproof. I just ordered more.

These are nice boxes and work well.Only issue . . . I suspect the head of the screws provided may not be Phillips but something like Pozidrive or Frearson. (Cross heads used in Europe and maybe Asia)The plastic holes are tight, and no size of Phillips I could find would nicely drive the screws without mashing the cross head.For the 2nd box, I will slightly drill out the screw holes before attempting to screw them in (or find an appropriate driver. I must have one somewhere.)That said, these are nice little boxes, and the cable seal seems to work well. Yes I would recommend.

Had a break in underground 110v wiring with very little slack to work with. This product went in quickly and very secure for the long term.

The Romex underground wiring in my backyard did not fit in the item so I never got to see if it was actually waterproof. The item it designed to work with round wiring ONLY and the Rectangular Romex did not work

I used this box to make a connection from a water pump in my outdoor fountain where the cord exits the waterproof cord weatherhead and connects to the actual power wires. It is in a dry area within the fountain structure, but could get wet if sprayed or rained on heavily. Worked out great and is better than just plugging two cords together.

These boxes are well made and detailed. They work very well for their intended purpose. However for my application I had to drill holes in the box and cover to install a waterproof fuse holder and a waterproof switch. The wiring got quite tight inside the box but I couldn't use a box that was physically larger.One hint to make your life easier. The four screw holes for the cover are a bit too small for the screws. The screws are tiny and you'll strip the phillips head trying to force them in. Enlarge the holes with a #42 drill bit and the screws go right in and still hold tight.

I wanted to bury some wires in the back yard for a sprinkler timer... this thing fell apart in my hand. The water proof component is a rubber ring that falls out when you put wires through. Junk product.
