I was not clear as to what width these were ...
I was not clear as to what width these were and found them too slim for my needs. Treated a friend to them as a gift!
1. Remove one interdental cleaner from the package, 2. Gently insert the brush between your teeth, 3. Move the brush back and forth to remove food and plaque, 4. Rinse your mouth and the brush, 5. Dispose of the used brush.

But I do toss after 5 days. My procedure: Under running water, remove all loose debris. Place cleaned brush in small glass filled with Hydrogen Peroxide. Leave until next use. Store it so that it'll dry before the next time you use it (so it doesn't grow bacteria).\n\nThese things are GREAT! They're much quicker to use than dental floss, so you'll use them more often, and they'll do wonders for your gum health. (You should still floss sometimes, though.)\n\nI used to always get gently scolded when I went to the dentist: I needed to floss more. But when I started using these interdental brushes (and an Oral-B electric toothbrush), the scoldings stopped. Now I get praise!
