Made my bathroom joints tighter than my bank account after payday. I grabbed this Dowsil 785 in Manhattan Grey because my old sealant was basically giving water a free “back-door pass” into the walls. That old stuff was patchy, saggy, and about as reliable as my late-night DIY skills sober… which is to say: not. Once I squeezed this 785 out, the silicone lay down smooth and confident — like it knew exactly where it was meant to go. Within an hour it was tack-free, and within a day it felt like I’d welded the joint shut with silicone-grade Kevlar. It sticks to porcelain, tile, glass and other slick surfaces like it’s using industrial-grade superglue, but stays flexible so when things move a bit under weight or temperature it doesn’t crack. Handy when showers, baths, or sink units shift ever so slightly. The built-in mould and bacteria resistance feels like a bonus bodyguard against mildew, E.coli, and general damp nastiness — perfect for bathrooms, kitchens or any damp corner you don’t want turning into a fungal rave. Five stars. If sealants were judged by how smugly they repel water and dirt, this one would be strutting the job site in a suit.

I know this is a top quality product but wish I’d bought from screwfix as it came without a nozzle. So if I never had one I wouldn’t be able to use it.

Always use Dow Corning, great flow and adhesion.

A very good quality sealant, used to fill joint between light grey kitchen worktops and upstands. Colour match is amazing giving a seamless joint that is hard to see.
