I bought this bike for my son's 5 yr birthday. He loves it! I was so glad to find a smaller size bike without training wheels and a kickstand instead. Just what he needed. We have had it about a year and it still looks great. The wider tires help him feel more stable.

Wow. Can’t say enough about this bike. Very easy for me to put together. I had it assembled in about 20 mins. But the real win was how fast my son learned to ride. He’d had a tricycle and balance bike previously, but when we transitioned to this bike, he was riding without assistance in quite literally 5 mins. I think the thicker wheels helped a lot. Great quality. Definitely recommend.

As I was seeing this up, I was blown away by the build quality as well as the instructions being so polished. Dual brake, sturdy frame, A+.

I ordered this for my 12 year old and he was so excited that when it arrived we HAD to put it together.Needless to say he was done 10 minutes in and it was left to me.The instructions are lacking details and the number/letters didn't always match but it is pretty intuitive and if needed there are simple instructions online for this same modelThe bike itself is sturdy and runs well!He loves it and is thrilled to ride it to school for the new school year!I do recommend this bike for the cost but make sure you set aside time to assemble it

This is a great bicycle - super solid, well constructed, ready for anything our six-year-olds can dish out. Feels like a tank - they're going to have a tough time destroying this one!

Good design, good value

This is a very good looking bike. It's being shared between twins--a boy and a girl--so the non-gender-specific coloring and style is a plus.PROS:+ Very easy to assemble--they say 15 minutes but I did it in 10 (brag, brag) plus a couple to pump up the tires to the 40 psi recommended (they were at 7 and 9 psi)+ Really good looking. Kids love the look.+ Enclosed chain. The chain guard is an essential for this age group.+ Fixed gear. Gearing is quite unnecessary at this age--they're not likely to join the Tour De France hill section, right?+ Built-in kickstand. So there's a chance the bike won't be just left dropped on its side... but only a chance.+ Rear brake seems to be an axle drum brake. The front is the classical caliper but not the rear. It works really well and, I think, will operate better than a caliper brake in the wet. We will see (though mom may not allow riding in the rain anyway).+ Wide tires. Quite high pressure too. Good for uneven and gravelly surfaces (though mom may not allow riding on uneven and gravelly surfaces anyway).+ Seat handle. Handy.+ Reasonable price. Somewhat competitive with similar at, say Walmart; but I think higher quality.+ Slightly weird "bell". It's battery powered (batteries provided), in a general panda theme, and makes rather odd sounds.CONS:Not much since this is a pretty nice machine.- Rear axle footrests would have been nice--to allow rear-wheel balancing. Ok, not right after they dispose of the big wheel bike or the training wheels, but later perhaps. Might see if I can attach some clip-ons (though mom may not allow stunts anyway).- Odd water bottle under the seat. More a decoration than a hydration device methinks.- The provided rear red reflector is on the same side as the kickstand and sticks out a ways--it's attached to the frame rather than under the seat (which is taken up by the water bottle) or on the seat stem. I imagine it's going to get kicked a few times. I might replace it with a saddle stem reflector or light (though mom may not allow riding at night anyway).SUMMARY:All-in-all, this is a pretty cute machine that will take the kid(s) from the big wheel until they get a big bike. Easy to assemble and fun to ride. Well recommended.

The bike itself is wonderful. The frame is beautiful. The paint is flawless and the color is amazing. Love the fact that the brake line is hidden in the frame. Very sharp. The tires are cool and meaty. Very easy to put together.Now the loss of star comes from it's 2 flaws. First, the frame is small. My daughter rides a 14 in barbie bike without issues. But in this bike, she can't comfortably pedal as her knees are too high. The frame seems short. My daughter is 6. She's tall, but still. Second flaw is the price. Wowza.
